Best app for car dealers

Wrong price

Says £4.99/£49.99 then £9.99/£99.99 when you download the app, for £4.99 worth a try but it's too expensive for the new prices

Response from developer

Thanks for giving Stockbook a try and for the honest feedback. You're right that the price went up, and I want to be upfront about why. We recently added a full invoicing system to the app, so you can now create and send proper invoices to customers straight from your stock list. That was a big piece of work and a major upgrade, so the price moved to reflect what the app now does. The annual plan still works out a lot cheaper than monthly if you're using it regularly. Either way I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and if you ever want to give it another go I'd love to hear how the invoicing works out for you. Cheers.

Disappointing application

The application asks you to subscribe for £49 as soon as you finish enter your details. Yes, it says free trial but at least allow me to use the free version to see if I want to subscribe. Can’t even try it without having to subscribe. I can’t put my card details for something I don’t know if it works well.

Response from developer

Hi, and thanks for giving StockBook a try. I'm sorry the start felt like a hard sell. Let me clear up the cost worry, because I think it's a misunderstanding I should have made clearer in the app. The trial is genuinely free for 14 days. Nothing is charged until it ends, and you can cancel anytime from your Apple subscription settings with one tap. Importantly, on iPhone you don't enter any card details into StockBook. The trial runs through Apple using the payment method already on your Apple ID, so we never see or handle your card. Apple does require a payment method on file to start any free trial. That's an App Store rule across all apps, not us taking money up front. The 14 days exist for exactly the reason you mention, so you can add your own stock and see if it genuinely helps your dealership before paying a penny. (£49.99 is the yearly option, and there's also £4.99/month if you'd rather go small.) We'd genuinely love for you to give it those 14 days. And if anything feels off, email us at admin@stockbookcar.app. We read every message and will sort you out personally. Thanks again, The StockBook team
