Sucks

To be so great

No star rating

Currently the stokd app is flawed somewhat by the lack of a star rating. There is little way to filter out the choss at present

Stòck

Très cool quand tu a plus envie de grimper les bloc de la salle

Works yes. Could it be better? Yes.

It’s inevitable that people will compare this app to the kilter board app. I appreciate the developers might not aspire to be like the Kilter/Tension apps, but the harsh reality is they are currently better then Stōkt. Yes Stōkt does a different job, accommodate for custom Home boards, which is pretty cool! And the interface is actually pretty cool as well. The big improvement I would like to see, because there are a few, but the main one is I really wish I could swipe instead of clicking arrows, and when changing climbs on the app, the lights on the bored change at the same time. I have to click that’s light bulb button way to my times. Happy to provide more feedback if needed.

Hope to see added features

Beta videos would be cool, overall really cool app.

Not loading

Went to check for some climbs and the app won’t load anything for me and yes I am connected to wifi

Fix load

App is cool but the fact that it just refuses to load sometimes can completely kill a session.

Love this app.

Bringing spray walls to the modern age of board climbing. Works great!

Not worth it

Paid $60 for my home wall, they missed two holds. Wrote back two separate times to get it corrected, no response.

App is also buggy. Comments don’t work, constantly fails network calls to update climbs, and interfaces are clunky.

Not worth the price for the quality of the app or the customer service.

Need option to filter by grade, thx

Like kb tb apps

Multi Wall Angles Don't Work

Don't expect the multi wall angles to work. The grading tabulation is broken, the app defaults to an undefined angle for climbers and doesn't facilitate new climbers understanding how the multi angle works.

Needs videos

I think this app is great but literally all it needs for it to be perfect is an option to take a video of yourself doing the boulder problem that you have set! Especially bc it’s hard to find some of the holds on my spray wall so I believe having a video would help out a lot hopefully you can add videos to the mix

Good app but filters need work

I’ve been using Stökt for years and it’s fine most of the time. But the filter and functions don’t seem to work in the profile area. I tried filtering my own climbs in the ‘created’ list and the whole list disappeared. Even deleting and reinstalling the app hasn’t brought the list back. The climbs are still there (I can search my gym by name) but my profile area is now empty. Annoying.

Thanks

Very happy

Solid but experiencing some bugs/weird design choices

As of 3/10/24, when I use the “filter” to sort climbs by recency, it doesn’t seem to actually do this and instead shows them in a seemingly random order?

My own activity doesn’t show up in my gym feed, which is a bit weird.

Climbs seem to show up in order of creation date but I think it should be based on publish date. Since many people keep climbs private and edit them until they’re satisfied/complete, then publish. If enough time passes between the two, the newly published climb still doesn’t get much attention.

It would be nice to see what grade different people have suggested / at least a distribution

Unusably slow on iPhone…

Especially when the connection isn’t perfect the app is extremely laggy and unresponsive.

Glitch when I zoom in a lot

Same on iPhone and Samsung. Big zoom in and it will jump to somewhere else on the picture of the wall …

Great! but….

But with the new update on iPhone,

- I can no longer edit or change my profile information
- There’s no feedback section (which is why I’m leaving this review)
- Created climbs can’t be edited
- My profile picture doesn’t show on the climbs I’ve created

This is what I’ve noticed so far. They are small issues, but together create an annoying one. Hopefully get fixed with a new update.

Help

Everything is great, but when I try to add my home wall the screen goes white after step two and I can’t add my wall.
