The Finance App I Didn’t Know I Needed
I’ve only recently started getting into investing, so I wanted an app that could help me understand what was happening without making me feel like I needed a finance degree. Stoky has honestly been a pleasant surprise.
The AI Spotlights are easily my favorite feature. Instead of scrolling through endless news articles, I can just hit play and listen to the podcast version while driving, walking, or cooking. It explains not just what happened, but why it matters in a way that’s actually easy to follow. For someone who’s still learning, that’s been incredibly valuable.
The UI deserves a special mention too. It’s clean, intuitive, and doesn’t overwhelm you with charts and jargon. Within a day or two, I was confidently navigating the app and learning about companies and market events without feeling lost.
But the feature that completely blew my mind is The Matrix. Seriously, if you’re using the app, do yourself a favor and open the web app just to explore it. Seeing companies, industries, events, and market themes connected together as a living graph is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a finance product. It makes you realize how everything in the market is connected instead of looking at isolated headlines. I genuinely spent way longer exploring it than I expected because it’s just so fascinating.
Overall, this doesn’t feel like another stock market app. It feels like someone rethought how people actually learn about the market. Whether you’re completely new like me or already invest regularly, I think you’ll find something to love here. Highly recommend giving it a try (and don’t skip checking out the Matrix on the web. It’s awesome)
