The Weekly subscription unlocks rock, mineral and gem scanning, your full Snap History, saving wallpapers to Photos, and every guide in Explore. Browsing the app and a selection of Explore entries are free. HOW IDENTIFICATION WORKS Identification runs on our online service, which uses a third-party AI model to analyze your photo, so the photo you choose is sent there. The app asks for your permission before it sends anything, tells you exactly what is sent and who analyzes it, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings. Results are AI-generated estimates and may be wrong — have valuable specimens checked by a professional.
