This app is terrible, every rock I’ve taken a picture of a rock it has come back inconclusive, terrible waste of money, and yes all the pictures I have taken have been clear as possible and no other minerals in picture…

Best Rock Identifier
I've tested a few rock/mineral identifying apps and this one is my favorite! It gives me the name, description and value of my rock collection. Any rock collectors should try this app.

It is a scam, I waited three days and nothing happened.

WHY DOES IT KEEP SAYING BLUE SAPPHIRE
I tried out the app on free three-day trial, I tried multiple ways to get the Orange rock I found to say something else other than blue sapphire, even though I failed. Please fix this bug, ‘cuz this app isn’t working.
Is not ever accurate in Identifying
Two stars because while there’s lots of information on different minerals… I tried the 3 day trial and identified MULTIPLE rocks/gems and it was always wrong. I tried many different photos in all sorts of ways with different lighting and back grounds, listened to the info on (how to) take a correct photo and it was still always wrong. I cannot trust this app or any of its information. They seem to just want your money, but this will not fool someone who actually knows gems/rocks/minerals.

Lots of fun to do
It seems great ? only used once . As I can't be a rockhound any longer due to paralysis. Only using it once I don't know much about the app. I guess but what? I would add to it from using it. That 1 time is tell tale signs of the rocks, like if there's a difference between one or the other and how to tell what to look for.

Fantastic! Is spot on most of the time. When it is not the second or third identification is usually correct. If not identified correctly this is due to poor specimen or picture is not showing enough of item's texture and/or color for proper identification. Includes a wealth of information.
Excellent
Excellent app identifies fake crystals and real crystal really well. The app occasionally gets the name of some of the crystald wrong and does not identify some of them in their correct name but great to use the free version of this app.
