Very useful - could use a few tweaks
We use this app as a backup timing system for events - it’s a great way to verify our official timing system. It would be very helpful to add visual or haptic feedback when recording a finish - with sound on you can hear a “camera shutter” noise but it would be good to add to this for noisy environments.
The banner is fine, but the text is too small to read (at least for older eyes) during events.

Perfect for races!
With the ability to capture both a photo and a time for every runner who crosses the finish line, this is an invaluable app for anyone who organises races for fun. Recommended!
Excellent little app
Used this many times and the latest version is the best yet - with larger buttons and font. Nothing else like it that I can find, so I’m happy to have come across it

What a simple and clever idea - so much easier to track times in races
Love it!
This app makes coaching cross country so much easier! The only change I would request is the ability to change the font size on the clock so it is easier to read to call off split times as the runners pass.

I’ve used this app for 4 years. I am the timer for a children’s running series, and this is the best way I’ve found to keep record of finishers. The pictures work great for our social media, and we’ve never had a problem or glitch (other than me forgetting to hit start when I say go 🤪).
Other race coordinators in our nationwide running series still use stopwatches and clipboards… and parents complain about their results being inaccurate. We don’t have that problem.

Works fine as described
I have just started using your App for recording times for a running club. Works as described and just what we have been looking for.
I like the ability to export a csv file of times
Couple of queries and suggestions:
1. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro, and the resolution is a bit ordinary compared to the normal camera app - is there anything I can do to improve the resolution?
2. A Zoom feature would be handy?
3. With the normal iPhone camera, I can use the headphones up/down buttons as a shutter button- very handy when using a tripod, could this feature be added?

Great concept, poor functionality and design
I wanted this to work. The goal was to track a cross country race for a high school team where three people could use the app (each person buying the app of course). They would start the timer at the start and each person could photo the runners at a specific spot on the course (1 mile, 2 mile, and Finish). This would record split times and photo each team member at that spot.
This app only Starts a timer and only takes photos if you hit the Lap button. There’s no other way to take a photo thus causing a challenge with getting their times recorded at a special spot on the course.
If you Stop a timer, you can’t Start it up again with our resetting the timer or leaving the app and coming back into it. That then loses all your times.
Summary, no camera option for photos and the timer doesn’t work properly. Please save your money if the app isn’t updated to correct these issues.

Doesn’t work w/ XS on iOS 12
I keep getting an error saying the app couldn’t save the photo, but it actually is saving it just fine. It happens every time I press the split button which makes the app unusable.

Sorry to hear that. Please check in Settings of your iPhone, find the icon for StopW + Cam and make sure it has read/write access to your photos. If the problem continues please send me an email to Stopwcam@gmail.com to verify more items. I just tested it and it worked fine.

Can't remove app name watermark
It would be nice to be able to remove the app name watermark, especially since this is a paid app.

Used it to get photo finishes with times as a backup for our times. Worked great and helped us get some times that we missed.

Fantastic for CC splits
This is a fantastic app for getting splits at cross country meets and doubles for getting great pictures of the team.
