I use this along with a few other weather apps to track major storms, especially on Lake Winnipeg.

Downhill since updates
Love the detail but since the major design update have noticed total deterioration in accuracy. Really can’t even trust it for forecasting anymore
Storm radar review
The radar map of precipitation has stopped updating properly. It shows where rain events were about an hour ago but fails to update to the present time
But confusing at first, but seems OK so far.
I’ve been using this app for about 10 years and didn’t update it. I liked how everything was available on one screen without having to fill a lot. After updating, it was a bit confusing with some of the changes, but it seems to provide some extra data. The one thing I don’t like is Exact sunset and sunrise times are not displayed. This would be easy to add and it wouldn’t add any complexity. There’s a few other quibbles, which make it a little bit tricky to navigate through. About the update again and hopefully it still works OK.

Very accurate when severe weather approaches and coloured rain precipitation layers.
Don’t like new version
I don’t need to radar for 3 days! 12 hours is all I need. Probabilities drop considerably as the forecast goes out. I would like to be able to set radar length.

Pop-ups; Cancelling subscription
I open this app to view severe weather, every time I do, pop ups block 97% of the screen I’m trying to look at: “Log in with Google! Log in with facebook! Log in with Apple! Log in with X!” <—— That blocks 75% of the screen. After a year, ‘Helpful Tips’ drops down from the top blocking almost the rest of what’s left on the screen.
I didn’t open the app to do an hour and a half of data entry and to CONSTANTLY review app “tips.” Just show the damn weather instead of trying to line your pockets by over-commercializing the app.
The Weather Underground app shows me what I need soon as it opens. So, canx’ing this subscription and going elsewhere.

Accurate
This app is far more accurate at predicting rain than the Apple Weather app or any other app. I’ve tried. The radar view is exceptional.
Great with weather
This happens to deal with the weather and I can also let you know about lightning storms and hurricanes near your area so if you wanna know what’s coming, then you should get this app. It’s very helpful.😀😀😀
Doesn’t work with CarPlay
Brings up Apple Maps on my infotainment screen. Will this be fixed?
Great weather tracking
I depend on Storm radar when I go fishing. A must have!!
Weather 10/10, navigation 3/10
As a weather app, this is one of my goto apps. As a navigation app, there’s work to be done. When you start navigation it displays the first action to be taken (turn left in 7 miles etc.). After a very short while it displays the next action to be taken and displays it for the next 7 miles (at the roundabout take the first exit). It’s always displaying one action ahead of the next one. It also runs out of map after a distance and just displays a green screen. I won’t be using it anymore for navigation as these two issues make it difficult to use.

Modern up-to-date
I’ve tried more weather apps than I can count Storm Weather app is the first Weather app that has utilized AI with a modern look. Even some of the best weather apps that I have used are looking really dated now. Storm isn’t perfect. But I’m enjoying a much more modern look and feel. Carrot weather has some work to do.

Bad changes
I’ve been using storm radar for many many years, as it had the best layout everything you could see it just on one screen and know exactly what the weather is doing and what it’s gonna do. Recently, I updated to the newer version, and it’s absolutely horrible. It’s a it’s a jumbled mass of different Graphs and windows popping in and out and adds popping up. It’s also wildly inaccurate. I’m in the middle of a very heavy summer storm. It’s been going on for an hour, and the app is saying no rain expected. Also, they’ve made it difficult where you have to navigate to different sections and areas to get the information that used to all be available in one screen. Do not recommend. Let me know if you know a better app like the old one. Bye-bye.

I’m a young meteorologist who loves tornadoes and this is very good at doing what it’s supposed to do. I don’t have enough money to buy the premium or whatever but I still love it.
Love it
Keeps me informed and gives me time to get ready at the farm and at the house in town.
