Totally useless app now with popups, wont load, been using over 10 years. The so called updates are downgrades. Had to delete the app.

Used to be great, now annoying

I have used this app for a long time; it is my go-to for quality and accurate radar. The maps look great, simple layout and navigation. The recent series of updates makes it near impossible to use the slider in the timeline. This used to be one of the best features: grab the slider and be in full control to walk through the storm trajectory. NOW: you get a tiny little portion of the slider to use, barely a finger width, before you land in the 5-day forecast that prompts a FULL screen add nagging you to buy the subscription. Annoying. I dont need 5 days of radar....I need the recent history and near-term forecast, and I need that available in the slider...Not your ad trickery

Requires account

Used it without issues in the past, but the more recent version (Aug ‘26) now requires signing in via Apple, Google or a Weather channel account after using the app a few times. I don’t care about syncing settings across devices with this app, I just wanna use the free version to look at the radar. The syncing across devices with an account could’ve been made optional. Looks to me like another way of data mining app users. Will have to look for a new radar app now.
