Weather and the Personnel of Channel 7..
I have really enjoyed the new young Meteorologists at Channel 7. They are well trained and have blessed Amarillo with accurate weather predictions. We all like to plan our time off and our vacations. I know I can rely on Channel 7 to give me their best information for a week out. I grew up in SW Oklahoma and I know how quickly weather can change & become dangerous. I rely on your weather casts to protect my family and your people say take shelter, it is not a scare tactic or excitement. It’s the truth. This has been a time of unpredictable weather change, but your people obviously take their jobs seriously. Great job Channel 7 and Thank You All.

Pulls up very slow and the radar feature doesn’t work half the time.
Issues with radar
Site pauses and flashes a lot, have to close and reopen it in order for it to play.
Weather Saftey
I really enjoy having the channel 7 Weather app. It helps to be aware of storms that might be coming our way. I like being able to prepare ahead of the storm for safety.
Schoolnet
The Schoolnet sites were much much better information available for our specific area. Upkeep, reliability, and accuracy were major factors in our decision.???? Hmmm, that’s what you get when a new weather team regime takes over. The old weather guy Steve Kersh didn’t seem to have a problem keeping up. That’s why moving to a new station for my weather information were major factors in my decision.

Not so great
On an Ipad in landscape you get a big Logo that prevents you from seeing the weather data behind it.
Also.. I find the ads annoying. What they guarantee from me is I will not spend money with that advertiser. I undestand ad revenue, but try to find something low key without being in your face.
The most helpful thing to me would be for the app to be a warning system. Notifiy me when a fire is sweeping through my location or a tornado is coming down where I am standing. This would make the local area app worth having and give you something the better weather apps do not have.

Latest Update Won’t Allow Changes
The latest update on IPad 12.5.3 doesn’t allow the ability to change the overlays for severe weather. The icon only shows a little bit and won’t allow a user to click on it to change from showing severe weather. Latest update did something on the size of that box. Sad.
1 annoyance
This a good weather for our local weather, but it always asks about using your location service. I choose always allow and again it asks me a few days later, and a few days later.
