Local trustedweather is back
I am thankful the previous, and disastrous owner is gone. To watch him dismantle the team I’ve watched my whole life, peg by peg, was painful.
The new owners moved swiftly to bring the weather team back together immediately. To me that says they understand the importance of a trusted weather team, especially in a tumultuous weather region like this one.
I’m grateful to the new owners for having a good sense to do some research because what they have learned will put them on top very quickly again.

Better than OG Weather App
Tbh I like this app a lot more than the original weather app. It sends you notifications about nearby lightning and storms plus the map is a lot better.
Too Many Notifications
The app is good except for one important and annoying thing: I either have to turn off notifications or put up with non stop notifications. They can be adjusted in the app but it doesn't follow the adjustment: it just sends a notification every 2 minutes about everything in the world no matter how I set it. It's important to be notified about dangerous weather, but nobody needs a notification about each lightning bolt until the storm is over.

Too many ads
This app used to be relatively okay but recently the ads have made me start looking for a new app. It originally only had an occasional pop up ad every few times you switched tabs but now it’s a full video ad that pops up every time you switch tabs. The ad also takes time to load so your better off closing the app and reopening it just to get rid of it. For an app that’s supposed to help you stay safe from adverse weather conditions, it doesn’t help much when you’ve got to wait for an add to see the weather.

Will not open after first time being used. Have to download app again every time to use it.
