Less ads
There are so many ads that the weather app is almost useless and very difficult to navigate. Looks to me you would have more pride in your presentation than to have ads interfering. Money is apparently the overriding issue.

Meh
The radar animation frequently freezes, requiring a restart of the whole app. I miss this item from the old app: Sunrise and sunset for each day in the daily forecast.
Ads In The Way
One short splash ad in the beginning is OK. However KTBS keeps up the bad work by having their own ad continually pop up promoting their news app. Adding insult to injury, when moving between modes, it causes a fresh ad to pop up. The fresh ad promotes KTBS’ continuing reporting COVID stats. By now, we all know COVID stats are overly available. Running such ads repeatedly on the weather app is especially annoying.

Worst update
I really hate this new update. You have to turn your iPad sideways just to see things. And other issues make this the worst update same thing with the 24 hour news channel all of the ads that are permanently on the screen makes the viewing screen so small. I really wish they would go back to the old design.

Not a good update.
It isn’t very user friendly. Use to be my favorite go to for weather. Now I will have to find a new one. The new radar stinks. The whole app just really stinks. There wasn’t anything wrong with the old one. This is literal like a web page and not a good web page. You can’t look at the past present and future on the radar. 12 might be getting my attention.

App Review 2024
The new app has no overlays. I like to see the warning boxes and lightning strikes. I will not be using it any more. Also on tv the screen is smaller and needs to be more full screen like it used to be. Too much clutter. When there’s a tornado it’s not that important who the area weather watchers are. We need to see the radar.

New App is Horrible
I hate the new app. It’s too hard to navigate. Too busy! I used to love the simplicity of the old app.
Does show what you want it to
I loved the old app. Weather alerts, earth quacks, lightning tracker everything you could want. The update destroyed it. Doesn’t show earth quacks unless you are zoomed in close. Doesn’t show lightning. Doesn’t even give accurate data!!! Currently have thunderstorms but it shows just rain. Shame on the developers for putting something out before it’s ready especially when people depend on it for weather aware days!!!

App Layout Stinks
Really dislike the app layout, you have to click on hourly forecast to get the 7 day forecast. Trying to be to cute.
New app stinks
This was my go to app. The new update is horrible. I guess it’s time to look for a new one.
The new change is AWFUL
I used to love this app and it was my go-to for local weather. The newest update changed EVERYTHING for no reason and now it’s basically a mobile version of their website. And ALL of the multiple locations I had saved are gone. Hate it! Switching to KSLA.
Just isn’t accurate anymore
First off it’s so hard to get to the weather info because of ads. Secondly the app isn’t accurate. If you watch the news station on tv- their info on tv, their info on the website, and the info in this app are never the same. The app must not get updated properly. It will say it’s raining when it’s sunny or reverse. I can never see where the rain is at. Now the app is glitching. It opens to a mostly blank page. When I click on Hourly or Daily it force closes itself. What’s the point??

App locks up, stuck on ad
While this app has always been plagued with ads, the latest iteration opens to and stays on a full-screen ad. Not the best experience when trying to check on the tornado watch advisory that was just issued.

Getting Bad
I’ve used this app for years. Loved it at first. It’s continually getting worse when it comes to accuracy. I understand a pop up storm not showing up on radar immediately, but I’m not even talking about that. I don’t think it’s right to send warnings & then when we open the app, have to wait until an ad goes away just to make sure we’re not in a tornado’s path. Or, check the radar and see a storm over our area or heading towards you and nothing is actually there. App wasn’t like this at first. It should be at least close to accurate.

Daily weather reports never consistent
I like having a local video weather report, but it’s never consistent. I wake up around 5:30 for work every day, and maybe twice a week at best I have a morning weather report. And even then it doesn’t seem to be posted at the same time every day. Why!? :(

I should know by now not to trust any weather app. They’re not too accurate. One problem I have in particular with this app is if you get a warning or notification due to a storm, tornado, etc. and try to open it, you have to wait for an ad to go away first before getting to see the details of what the weather is. That’s a problem! I don’t mind the ads any other time.
