Ok what the heck are people talking about when they say this app sucks!? Huh!? I love it! It saved me and the apple weather app that is naturally built into your device!? It sucks! (The natural built in app) I totally recommend this app!
Keeps crashing
I try to open the app then it instantly kicks me out back to my Home Screen

Why
Used to be my go to weather app until they started with the most obnoxiously loud ads you could not click away from and gave you no choice but to just delete the app
If crash were cash…
…I’d be rich. App is still nothing more than a website shortcut. Don’t have enough fingers & toes to count the number of time it crashed instead of launching.
Shuts down often
I want to love this app but I can’t bc I can hardly ever get into it! I’ve gotten it multiple times hoping it was improved but wasn’t. Often times when I open the app it tries to load and then closes on its own. Multiple times in a row. So I can’t even get to the weather. Yes, all other apps and phone updates are up to date.

I want the option to opt out of ads!
Opting out of ads was available at one time. I made the mistake of not doing so the first time it was offered. Navigating the storm team app was frustrating at best with the ads. So much so that I dreaded using it. Therefore, it made no sense to keep the app. Please bring that option back. Then, I would likely reinstall the app and live happily ever after. Other reviews seem to support my request. Please!

This app is really slow performing. Locks up almost every time I open it.

The only share link that worked was for X. Sharing is so simple they figured out how to do that in the 90’s

Love Storm Team 8, hate the ads.
I prefer Storm Team 8’s meteorologists and their weather coverage to other local stations but the pop-up ads on this app are even more irritating than usual. Is there an ad-free option available? I’d gladly pay for it.
Ad causes crash at launch
I have deleted this app because of their dumb ads that play at app launch, crash the app and after a year it still isn’t fixed. The dumb ads crash the app.
Bad updates
This app is extremely hard to use now, can’t get school closings, radar weather, weather alerts, etc. I’m going back to the weather channel and weather underground.
Worst weather app out there
Holy confusing mumbo jumbo on the first page. Simplify, instead of complicate.
App seem like it’s more for advertising
I’m deleting the Wood TV weather app due to continuous freezing and locking up when using it. Seems like all they care about its advertising and making money.

Good weather app
Overall the app is very nice and easy to use. The radar is in high definition and looks amazing! You can’t find a better radar out there that is free like this one is. The ONLY thing I would like to see change is in the watches and warnings overlay. I wish you could toggle on and off which watches and warnings you would like to see on the radar at a time. When all of the watches and warnings are displayed from the national weather service at once, it’s way to busy and makes the radar hard to see and honestly takes away from the overall product quality.

Disappointing app
When I open the app the screen is blank unless I open the menu and select HOME. Then the forecast comes up, but the hourly forecast won’t open. Unless I enter specific locations I can’t get a forecast for there, even if I’m THERE, so choosing CURRENT LOCATION doesn’t work, even when I have it set to “always on” in locations. I sure hope no one depends on this app for life threatening situations because it sure doesn’t function well enough to rely on. I ultimately deleted it and I’m sad because I rely on Storm Team 8 on TV. Sure hope they can fix the functionality issues.

The app is now infested with ads. The ads have ads.
The app is a cluttered mess and loads slow when internet speeds are either slowed or coverage is lacking.
You’re better off with an old school weather radio than this app when the carp hits the fan. The notification alarm may go off, but if the rest of the app doesn’t load, good luck.
