Sun times : Long-press the map to place a marker, then tap Sun Times, and find out precisely when that point will receive direct sunlight. Works for any date: past, present and future. Proprietary global heatmap : Heat button at top-left on map. Try the filtering on activities to see what interests you. Dynamic lighting, version 2 : Try it out on a shadowy area of summer satellite imagery in France or Switzerland. Switch it on and off to compare. It reconstructs shadowy areas from additional imagery, to bring out extra levels of detail that are normally lost. It is also excellent on glaciated terrain.
