Very similar to Spellstone
If you’ve played Spellstone that’s essentially what you’re getting, just, not cartoony more generic fantasy.
Just like Spellstone the late game cards are objectively better than the cards you get early so don’t expect to be able to play against other players unless they’re also using the starter cards.
All the sets past the first set cost a premium currency, though you can easily grind that currency it just means that later sets are way harder to actually obtain, and also this premium currency is also used for the actually good heroes and also things like shop rerolls and extra slots for opening chests. Don’t expect to make progress fast.
It’s like, yet another casual grind-core card game. The game occasionally bugs out on loading screens but otherwise runs fine.
All in all, a completely middle of the road game. It’s not exceptional but it’s not unplayable.
Also I don’t know what game they’re showing off in the screenshots but the game does not look like that at all. I kind of wish it did though that art style is a bit easier to read as a card game.

Abandoned
This game used to be great when updates were coming out once or twice a year. Now the game is filled with whales who own every single card and hold clan rewards hostage. No updates and its gone stale
The Pale King’s ideal
There are without a doubt many ccgs in the world. Yet very view make their own unique atmosphere and experience. Storm Wars has managed to do so exquisitely and shall continue to do so, quite well.

Not my usual game but…
I generally prefer games where you have more control over card deployment but it’s a fun enough diversion especially if you like this kind of thing.

Never normally play deck games
I normally only play pretty mindless games like idle games, simple racing games, or sudoku and solitaire. But this game is beyond addicting and I love it. I haven’t ran into a single ad and I’m a few hours into playing, the game has an in depth story to it if you want to pay attention to it, there’s tons of ways to personalize how it plays overall… I could go on and on but basically it’s a great way to get into this genre of games and really makes them easy to understand. I would recommend to anyone to at least try it, it only takes maybe 2 minutes tops to really get into the core of the game… love it!

Un card auto-battler sympa !
Très proche d’un autre jeu plutôt ancien (Spellstone) les combats sont entièrement automatiques et donc le seul véritable gameplay est la construction du deck. L’aspect stratégique est néanmoins très présent puisque les interactions entre les cartes sont nombreuses et la construction d’un deck équilibré est donc fondamentale. J’avoue que j’apprécie toujours battre des decks pleins de rares et de légendaires avec mon deck de communes.
Ce n’est clairement pas un grand jeu mais l’ensemble est fun et les aspects payants sont relativement discrets. Une bonne surprise qui vous occupera un petit moment sans débourser le moindre centime.

The Best CCG on Mobile
Absolutely 100% not pay to win-- all the top players are f2p. Unlock anything by playing. Literally 30 different heroes that are balanced and play differently. 300 equipments and 600 cards or something. You can run ten or more active decks and the strategy is choosing matchups, and playing many times per session. Extremely active devs that will live-chat you in the game's Discord.

War Storm 2.0
It’s a decent game that heavily leans into pay to win after the campaign is complete. If you don’t pay tens of dollars for a few cards or a handful of gems, you lose.
