What's New in Storm Window
1.1
August 11, 2026
- Trips (Pro+): pin an upcoming event or trip and get a dedicated safe-window forecast for its date, time, and activity — with its own alerts if the outlook changes. - New Dots chart style: an alternative to the classic bar chart for the 48-hour risk strip, available on both the app and home screen widget. - Driest-stretch highlight (Pro): the safe window now calls out the driest stretch within it, so you can plan around the best hours, not just the safe ones. - Clearer Heat Stress Index guidance: new in-app explanations (with a side-by-side comparison to plain air temperature) on why Heat Stress Index can read differently than the thermometer. - Custom Activity editor improvements: corrected heat-tolerance labeling, plain-language section names, and an advanced-user warning for anyone tuning thresholds by hand. - Widgets and complications now open to their own pinned location and activity when tapped, instead of whatever was last viewed in the app. - Notifications now include the location and activity they're about, so alerts are clear at a glance across multiple saved places. - Various refinements to the forecast summary, hourly explanations, and chart legends, plus bug fixes. - Added a Ticker Tape style display at the bottom showing the info for all the locations the user selected
