Response from developer
Thanks for taking the time to leave a detailed review — we really appreciate the honesty. We hear you on the frustration around vague update notes. You’re absolutely right that “bug fixes and UI improvements” isn’t helpful enough, especially when updates can’t be rolled back once installed. That’s on us. The update you mentioned was released quickly to address a couple of stability issues that affected a small number of users, but we should have explained that clearly instead of using generic wording. Going forward, we’re committed to being much more specific in our release notes so you know exactly what’s changing and why before deciding to update. We also understand your concern about updates potentially disrupting a workflow you rely on. While iOS doesn’t allow developers to offer rollbacks, we agree that transparency is the least we can do. Thanks again for calling this out — feedback like this genuinely helps us improve how we communicate, not just the app itself.

I hate when that happens. So don’t expect me to accept updates unless you specify what you’re doing exactly.
