Response from developer
Thank you for your interest in Storyglory, for giving the app a try, and for sharing your feedback. After reading your concerns, I believe we may have caused undue worry by leaving some important details under-explained. Here's more information that should help clear up any misunderstandings: ⢠Accounts require an email address as the username because it is the simplest way to get people started (e.g., it's less personal and less effort than creating a screen name, etc.). Rest assured that we keep every email address (as well as all your stories) private â the only people who will see them are people in your sharing circle â and we do not sell any customer information for marketing purposes. Privacy is very important to us. ⢠As for contacts, the app requests permission to read the address book as a convenience to those who want to share a story. Picking from a list of names is just so much easier than having to remember and manually type each email address or phone number of the people with whom you'd like to share. But the manual approach remains an option as well. ⢠It is not necessary to grant your contacts in order to save your story. After creating one, simply back out of that screen and the story (including all its photos and recordings) will still be fully viewable. We are here to help, so if you have further questions or would like any additional info, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at support@storyglory.me.
Amazing !!
And the product team keeps in adding new features. Just great.
