About

StoryLoom isn't another pile of scattered worldbuilding notes. It's an on-device story bible for writers: weave your characters, relationships, events, and branches into one structure you can see at a glance — and take with you anytime. Web fiction, novels, screenplays, webtoon stories, TTRPG campaigns, fanfic — as characters multiply and relationships tangle and routes branch, nobody can see the whole shape at once. StoryLoom makes that shape visible: characters are nodes, relationships are threads, events are a timeline, branches are routes. WEAVE YOUR STORY IN FIVE PARTS • Projects — create a world (title, logline, genre, cover color) and move freely between them. • Characters — capture fast with name, role, and a one-liner; grow into backstory and trait tags. • Relationship Map — the killer feature. Drag character nodes by hand and connect them with curved threads. Each relationship has a type (family, romance, friendship, alliance, rivalry, hostility, mentor), a direction, and an optional −100…+100 affection. The thread's color tells you the bond at a glance. • Timeline & Branches — stack events in order and split them into branch routes for multi-ending, non-linear stories. Even tangled plots get a visible structure. • Export — one tap turns a whole project into a Markdown / JSON story bible. Back it up, or move it into any other tool. Your world is never trapped. THE RELATIONSHIP MAP — A NEW WAY TO SEE YOUR STORY See complex character relationships as a map, not a table. Drag nodes to lay them out, pinch to zoom and pan, tap a node or thread to edit it inline. Who loves whom, who turned on whom — it reads instantly from color and curve. This one screen is what StoryLoom is all about. WHAT'S INSIDE • Character profiles — role, one-line, backstory, trait tags, avatar color/initial • Directional relationships with an affection ramp (cool tension ↔ warm bond) • Branching timeline with drag-to-reorder • Universal iPhone + iPad — a 3-column split layout and a roomy relationship canvas on iPad • Light / dark mode, a warm paper-and-ink editorial design • A sample world on first launch — start with a living relationship map, not an empty screen YOUR WORLD STAYS YOURS (ON-DEVICE) Everything is processed on this iPhone. No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. Unpublished manuscripts and worldbuilding are sensitive IP — so StoryLoom collects nothing and lets you export the whole thing to Markdown/JSON anytime. Never trapped, never lost. START FREE, UNLOCK ONCE FOR LIFE Free: 2 projects, 15 characters per project, the fully usable relationship map, 1 branch route, Markdown export (with a small "Made with StoryLoom" footer line). What's New in StoryLoom

1.0.2

August 15, 2026

You can edit and delete relationships now. A reader wrote in: “I would like to be able to edit/delete the relationships between characters.” They were right — until now, once a thread was woven, there was no way to unpick it. Tap the list button at the top right of the relationship map to see every relationship in your project, grouped by character. • Tap a relationship to change its target, type, affection, or note. • Swipe it away, or use “Delete relationship” at the bottom of the editor. • Tapping a character also offers just that character’s relationships. Stories grow by being rewritten. One thread tied wrong should never mean weaving the whole thing again. If something gets in your way, tell us: Settings → Send feedback. That is exactly how this update started.
