Scam.
Purchased and have 280 credits after paying annual subscription and yet I can’t make a story that needs 10credits. I need a full refund.
App did not work at all
Disappointed. Paid for it. Wouldn’t open. I have latest apple 16pro. Erased and reinstalled and repeated but never worked. I got promotional subscription for 20$. Money down the drain. I even contacted and didn’t hear from them. I feel like I’ve been scammed.

Just downloaded and made a few stories. Seems fun and kids would enjoy!

In comparison to ChatGPT: Selection of voices is pretty bad - they all sound very robotic and not real. Images are ok but can’t keep up with a storyline and frequently altered in some way, especially with clothes and facial hair. Very bad selection of words and descriptions, instead of saying “he drank water” it describes every action “he picked up a glass with his hand, put his lips on it, tilted a glass and swallowed water” My 6 year old could hardly understand it… video function doesn’t even work and it’s just a slideshow, not an actual video - definitely NOT worth $20 subscription

Best AI story generator
This is the best story maker app to make personalized read along books and videos. My niece is learning to read and she can’t get enough of it. Stories with her dogs, or toys, or some random character named Goobleck she made up — this app will make books and read along videos based on whatever you want. She’s convinced there’s a group of elves in the background that write the stories for her. A+ and I can’t wait to see what this evolves into over time.

Accuracy of the images in all the books I did as well as the dialogue was honestly mind blowing. Love the ability to turn the books into videos. My kids loved it. It was fun weaving in concepts I wanted them to learn about like kindness, empathy, etc. The ability to share your code or books with friends and receiving free credits was really helpful especially for those who don’t want to pay the subscription. I did an annual subscription and it was very worth it. We played the read-along videos on the TV using the Airplay. Great feature. Really well done Storytime AI team! Update: Have some teacher friends using this app for social stories for kids with special needs and are really happy with it in the classroom

Nothing works
I paid for a subscription for a year and can’t use the app. My subscription plan states that I have Credit Balance: 0.0. Expires on: - -. Scam. There is no way to get in touch with anyone for a refund. I would stay away from this app.

Adorable app
My neighbor showed me this app for my son! It’s adorable!!! I work long hours and cannot be home sometimes for bedtime. I can make a story and read it for my son and my parents can play it for him. Love it!!

It’s a terrible game but the first book is fine
So after the first book there are credits that you have to use and that is not fun because you have to pay a lot of money just to get two more books
