iCloud Sync Error

The app seems to be very bare bones at its current stage, making it not worth the $13 upgrade just yet. I’m also receiving the error “Attention Needed: The operation couldn't be completed. (CKErrorDomain error 2.)” for iCloud sync but the app does provide a way to resync or resolve the error.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and sorry it took me so long to reply. I build Stowed on my own, and reviews like yours are how I find out what's broken. You were right about the sync error. I found a mistake on my end that causes this exact error: Stowed's iCloud setup was missing a few fields, including the one used when you put a box in a place, so iCloud turned those changes down. I've fixed that on the iCloud side, so you don't need to do anything, and stuck changes should upload on their own. Your items stayed safe on your phone the whole time. You were also right that the app gave you nothing to act on. In version 1.0.2, Settings explains in plain words what went wrong and what to do, and has a Contact Support button that reaches me. New photos also use much less iCloud storage, since a full iCloud is the other common cause of this error. And fair point on bare bones. Your review is the reason I redesigned Stowed. In the next update, your things show up as cut-out stickers, every box gets its own colour, and there's a light and a dark look. Stowed stays free for up to 50 items, and Unlimited is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. I'd rather it earn the $12.99 before you pay for it. If the error comes back, tap Contact Support and I'll look into it myself. Livin
