Straight Arrow News is planning to charge a fee to read their articles. There are too many other news sources that don’t charge me money (they get their revenue from ads). I no longer am interested in Straight Arrow News.

Decent app but is ruined by..
The annoying unbypassable pop ups that want to force you into making an account so they can get and sell your information. Developers need to understand that trying to force people to surrender personal information will just cause your products to lose users. I will be deleting this obnoxious app now.

Was unbiased until ~Dec 2025
Sad to see the change in ~Jan 2026 away from data to backup all claims to now taking leaning views and telling people how to think and claiming lack of bias. Where is the data and facts from unbiased sources? Not here anymore.

I downloaded this app just yesterday and have found so much to appreciate about it already! However, many apps I’ve used in the past often changed over time to become basically unusable due to unreasonable subscription prices or limiting free content. Please please keep the base app usable if adding subscriptions in the future, and affordable prices would be nice too!

When is someone going to make a fact based news app? The past three months has seen this app go further and further into commentary on Trump vs the actual news. Even the America 250 series somehow managed to frame the country’s history as destroyed by him.

Straight up, I’m a conservative, and I too leave traditional media feeling exhausted and brim-high with unoriginality. SA is fresh fruit. Let’s get facts and think for ourselves. We can form our own opinions AND be informed on basic information. Two things, true at once. I don’t want emotional tugging. I want what happened and where. Bottom line.
