Turn a photo you love into a guide for your next shot. Not sure where your subject should stand or how to frame the scene? StraightCam turns reference photos into person and scene outlines in your viewfinder. Import a photo, try the built-in sample, or choose one in Discover, then move your phone and adjust zoom while following the guide. Follow the composition Switch between person, scene, or all outlines. Adjust the reference area and shooting aspect ratio to suit your shot. Help your subject feel at ease Use short compliments and gentle photo cues when you need a little help directing a friend. Take your inspiration with you Organize imported photos into personal collections. Save public references and collections locally for offline shooting, or explore nearby photo spots in Discover. Review the whole shoot Keep shooting with the same reference, review photos as a group, and lock your favorites. With permission, new photos save automatically to Photos. Live Photo is available on supported devices. Private by default Your private reference photos are analyzed on your device to create composition guides. This can include person segmentation and detection of body, hand, and facial landmarks; it is not used to identify people.
