Not worth it!!! At ALL

It was just reapeating not clear at all and nothing happend!defeated the point of the whole journey do NOT recommend!

To complicated

It was unclear and my sisters kept repeating its self even though she did the same as my brother who carried on but it got to complicated so we gave up *NOT* worth it!

Scarily bad

This app is really not good. It’s got potential but one app for EVERY NT property is sheer laziness bearing in mind it was sold to us as a “trail”. The kids kept looking at me as if to ask what they were supposed to be doing. The app accidentally closed down and so I had to go through the ENTIRE thing again which took about 15 minutes. Bring back paper, pencils and clip boards and a good old treasure hunt.

Great afternoon

This app worked perfectly and kept us entertained. My only feedback would be that it seems to be a bit confused about the age range it’s aimed at. The activities and the trail overall is ideal for the younger end of the suggested age range and was a bit too simple for the older end but the boggart in the middle was more for the older ones and might frighten the litter ones. We had an enjoyable afternoon and I’m glad we did it. Would be lovely to see a sequel with perhaps more riddles/ clue hunting elements for the older children.

Awful UX

Terrible UX. The sound did not work for us and if you read the transcript it’s quicker but you still have to wait until the crone has finished speaking before you can interact, which can take ages. You also cannot change your choice after you make it which is very frustrating for children.

Defeats purpose of visiting NT

Designed as text messaging back and forth (and forgets where you got to so you have to restart and wait for messages). I understand the National Trust wants a generic app to use at all its properties, however, it added nothing to our visit because it didn’t give directions or extra info, fun, activities. Just meant staring at a phone rather than the beautiful surroundings. Would have preferred interactive face to face activities for children during Halloween half term. App is waste of NT’s money!

Disappointed

Just didn’t understand what we were suppose to be doing. App had no sound. No real direction. Very poor effort in development.

The crack and the hack

Okay, so, I did this game in Devon with my nanna and twin brother though when we were into the game when the crone was talking to us the crack in the screen made me freak and then suddenly this weird face came up though I knew it was just the app, but my Nanna was like, ‘um…what?’ And my Nanna is brave. But what if a 2 year old is doing it with its mum or dad? They are gonna scream their head off. Please change. Thank you for the game though.👍

Fantastic family fun

Took my little one to play this at Blickling. So easy to download and set up, once we had the password from the staff we were good to go. Loved the jump scare 🤣 Tech run so smoothly. Great family fun!
