the app never disconnects and it shows who’s live. there’s even a function to put a specific number camera full screen.

Shame there’s no full screen tally option on the iPad… unless I’m missing something.
Never connected
I purchased both this app and the Strata View, and NEITHER will connect despite confirmed WiFi and IP address. I would like a refund, as this never worked at all.

Works as described. Note that this is just shows what cameras are active and does not control the ATEM switcher. Awesome to use as a tally light system for camera operators!

Juste besoin de paramétrer les bonnes adresses IP et ça roule. Un IPad sur l’un, un iPhone sur l’autre... Le tout branché sur des switches RJ45 et le wifi de la box...

Crashes when connecting
As soon as it connects to our Blackmagic ATEM switcher, it immediately crashes.
Does not work with Atem mini pro

Not working at all
Is connects to the Atem, and you can see the camera selection but buttons are not responding at all. I have months waiting for a fix for this

Hi Jartram. What you are seeing is the correct and intended functionality for this app. StrataView is just for 'viewing' the device status - NOT for 'controlling' it. If you need to control the ATEM, you will need Strata Lite or Strata Pro.

Hi JAVYVIVI82. Almost all issues connecting are due to intermittent or latent WIFI connectivity, or configuration issues bridging between Wifi and wired networks. There is support information on these topics at http://www.livepad.co.uk/support.html
Amazing!
I am a camera man for my church. I recently did a special Christmas musical. We had no comm for the camera team so this app saved us! Amazing work! I did lose connection twice, however it was quick and easy to re-connect!
Does not connect
Running BMD software 5.1 with Just Macros running, IPad with 7.1, ATEM 2ME. Does not read the inputs. iPad is connecting with MetaControl (although it does not work correctly), so I know the switcher can connect to the iPad. I would like to get the pro version capabilities, but can't drop the fifty if this does not work....

This app is great to check that the payed apps will work with your system. Also can be used for others to monitor the status of what's up on screen.

I see this one and the Lite version but not the Pro you speak of. Where's that?

Wireless router
What wireless router do you recommend with this app. Our ATEM switcher would lose lock now and then and we had to reconnect to the switcher a couple time during the show.
Still five you 5 stars cause I'm sure it might be just the brand wireless router we are using. Or maybe some kind of code written to check if it is still connected to the switcher I don't know I'm not a programmer!!!!
