What's New in Stratword

6.5.7

October 29, 2026

• Built for iPhone Duo: Stratword now adapts to the fold, whether your phone is closed, partly open, or fully open, so nothing important sits on the crease. • Better on iPad: a new sidebar for moving between sections, and pages sized for comfortable reading in portrait and landscape. • Try Premium free: start a 7-day free trial, see prices in your local currency, and get a reminder 2 days before your trial ends. • Script Exchange: fixed a timing issue that could let the same script be claimed twice, and titles with special characters now display correctly. • Fixes: Treatment details now always show as readable text; new screenplays show their title on Home right away; your account status now displays correctly on the Account screen; smoother PDF exports.

Everything Deleted

The app is user friendly and honestly a good platform to begin writing on. This being said, all of my previous project suddenly deleted, which makes the app unusable.

Response from developer

I am so sorry for the scare with your projects! Please know that your scripts are likely safe. With our recent update transitioning to the new web-based editor for cross-device syncing, some older projects may appear missing until they are fully synced. Please reach out to us at contact@stratword.com so we can personally help you migrate your previous work over to the new system. We want to get this fixed for you immediately!

Amazing until…

This app is user friendly, and quite easy to use for newbies, until you want to complete the piece and it converts. Every thing I’ve converted on here is distorted. It disappears a quarter of the page, making the pdf unusable for edits or sharing. I’m unsure how I am supposed to use my own work at this point, as there seems no way around this in the saving process. Please help!

Greetings, why can’t I paste text copied from my notes within the script section?

If this can be resolved, I will upgrade my account to a LIFETIME subscription
