Expensive and wait times wrong
Booked a taxi with them even though they were £7-£10 more then uber. Said 12 mins. 10 minutes later said 8 mins still. Cancelled and got charged £5. Try to support local and get punished
Cancelled after takes money
Offers a taxi within 2-5 minutes, takes your money immediately, then searches for a taxi, can’t find one and the cancels the booking for you. “Cancellation successful”… pity don’t refund the money as fast as they take it and don’t deliver a service.

Excellent service with an easy to use app. Very reasonable prices and very polite drivers. I would highly recommend.

Incapable of telling customers if their taxi isn’t going to come and just leave you wondering just for you to phone and say their busy app is clunky and it’s overpriced don’t use

Changes address
Annoyingly the app always changes my address to a neighbour’s house 2 doors’ away. That means the taxi always goes to the wrong address.
Terrible Service
Cancelled booking but held onto the holding fee. Why take a fee if you can’t do the booking?
Very reliable, good app
Never try to book a taxi at peak times between 8 & 9 am and 3 to 4pm cos they prioritise in their cash cow of school runs and have no taxis available

Friendly driver, Mark, we were going to book uber but they were double price due to it raining but not streamline, we gave a good tip as we were not ripped off

Used the App to prebook a pickup , our driver Thomas was bang on time to the minute .. we were given 7 mins notice via the app tracking his progress of his arrival to Haxby and he had a clean , 8 seater minibus .. absolutely perfect for our needs .. we will ask for Thomas every time we call .. great service

Taxi cancelled at last second
I booked a taxi through the app for a hospital appointment. I’d left plenty of time but did need the taxi to arrive. Seconds before it should have arrived the app sent me a notification saying that the booking had been cancelled. It even implied I’d cancelled it saying ‘we’re sorry you had to cancel your booking this time…’. When I called to check I was told the app automatically cancels bookings when there’s no car available. I was left with a mad dash to try and find another taxi company.

Terrible app and service
Via the app I pre booked a taxi at 1pm to pick up my wife at 3.35pm in order to collect my child From preschool. 2 minutes before the taxi was meant to arrive I received a message saying my booking had been cancelled.
After calling streamline York office the lady I spoke with said “we don’t have any cars and this is why you should have phoned and booked instead of using the app”. Even though the app confirmed the booking.
I was also told,after airing my frustrations for such a late cancellation with no earlier communication, that if I wanted to complain then I would have to complain about the app!
This IS streamline York’s app!!!

Good luck trying to make a deadline with this company. Don’t see the value of reserving a car when they can’t guarantee it.
Very reliable, good app
Used it twice now and when I booked a taxi with them one has turned up witching 5 minutes. You get the drivers name and car registration and a tracker to see how far he/ she is away from you and the time it will take them to get to you.
