Good morning Streams …. my name is Judith Patterson Marzilli and I live in Flagstaff Arizona. I wish I knew words big and beautiful enough to express my love for this old book and now on the iPad. I am 76 years old and have loved this book since a child. My minister Father would read this daily and expound on it and would teach me the wonder of our precious Lord. I have often thought to meet the couple, even younger, behind it would be a great pearl. I did try to get the audio but must say the speaker did not enhance the book at all!

Fantastic App
I don’t often write reviews, but this app is too good to not promote. It is completely ad free and extremely easy to use. Streams in the desert has been my favorite devotional for seven+ years. This digital copy is great for when I don’t have my paper copy with me.

Really love this app.Tha devotional is very good for the indi dual who wants to draw closer to the Lord.
Changing the interface too often
Every time I open the APP, it is entirely different. It is very hard to find what I’m used to read. Very annoying. You should do test launch before you keep changing the interface everyday.

My take on this Stream in the Dessert app.
I find the remainder to read Stream in the Dessert daily most helpful. That keep me to be diligent and discipline to read it everyday. The app is also helpful to open the right day of the piece that I should spend time with. I first started to read stream in the dessert when I was only a teenager, over fifty years ago and this app helps me to read it without inconvenience.

Trust
We must trust the discipline of the Lord. Western Christianity has implied that our lives should be without testing in trial once we become Christians. It is absolutely not true. If we look at our lives in reality we can see that it is the testing of our faith that creates maturity. This devotional reminds me daily that this is the normal Christian life.

Beautifully presented
I wanted to get a Streams app since I can’t always carry the book with me. I did look at a few but this one by far is the most beautiful. As you open each day you’re greeted by a beautiful photograph, scripture passages, prayer as well as the daily devotional reading. Who would’ve thought that Streams in the Desert could get even more beautiful!

The app suppose to have both Chinese and English versions. However, the English version is not showing.

I wanted to get an app of Streams in the Desert because I didn’t want to get distracted or lost in my cluttered kindle & inbox. I also didn’t want a physical book because I commute and travel and don’t want to carry extra weight. This app is very simple and straightforward. It opens directly to the current day and doesn’t bother you with alerts, constant updates, pushes to share on social media, etc. It has some basic settings that can be changed and I think that is great. The focus is on making the reading experience streamlined. Thanks for providing this service.
