App doesn’t work with speaker
I downloaded the app and quickly started playing around with it. However, nothing I tried has worked with the speaker. They do not communicate with each other.😔
There many issues with the app
THE APP DOES NOT WORK! unfortunately all of the good lighting effects, EQ settings, all other settings that really matter are controlled by the app. Because the app is full of bugs, you can’t access any of those features. Here’s my list of problems:
The app only works 1/2 the time. I have to shut it all down and restart it sometimes two or three times to get the app to work.
The lighting effects don’t work at all.
The app won’t save your EQ settings
The app can’t find the Street Hopper, but can find everything else.
All of these issues just point to pure laziness, and lack of concern for the consumer.
I’m returning this “THING” tomorrow. Obviously, my recommendation is not to buy this product.

Can anyone tell me how to connect the app to my speaker? 😂
App does work, here are the instructions!
The app does work people! Here is the right way to connect to the Street Hopper.
You first connect to STREET HOPPER+ under your Bluetooth settings. Once you are connected you go to the Street Hopper Plus app and click on the Bluetooth Speaker icon and click on the StreetHopperBLE from the list. Once you hear the speaker make a sound, that means you are fully connected. All app features will work now (lightning profiles, music playback, EQ, etc).
