About

Strideloft is an offline running cadence coach for runners who want fast, practical feedback without GPS, accounts, subscriptions, ads, or tracking. Start a run and Strideloft uses device motion to estimate foot strikes, display live steps per minute, and show whether you are below, near, inside, or above your target cadence zone. When the run is saved, the app keeps a local cadence trace so you can review how steady the session felt over time. Pro tools include: - Live SPM readout with adjustable target zones - Cadence Quality score for each saved run - Pace & Stride Lab for estimating stride length and cadence range - Cadence by Pace Zone reference table - Personal Bests for average cadence, time-in-target, and longest run - CSV export through the iOS share sheet - Local history with cadence charts - On-device settings for detector sensitivity and target zones Strideloft is designed as a field-friendly training utility. It does not use GPS, does not read Health data, does not create an account, and does not transmit your run data. Your runs stay on your device unless you choose to export them. Stride and cadence estimates are for general fitness training and personal review only. They are not a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, injury diagnosis, or treatment.

Strideloft 1.2 — Pace & Stride Lab + Personal Bests + CSV Export New in 1.2: - Pace & Stride Lab (Pro tab): enter your target pace and height to get your expected cadence range and stride length per step — calculated from published recreational-runner pace data (offline, no GPS). - Cadence by Pace Zone table: a built-in offline reference showing expected SPM for Easy, Long Run, Marathon, Tempo, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K paces. - Personal Bests card in History: shows your best average SPM, best time-in-target, and longest run at a glance. - CSV export: tap the share button in History to export all saved runs as a spreadsheet-ready CSV. - Bug fix: saved runs now correctly record the target zone you had set in Settings at the time of the run (previously always saved as 170–180 SPM regardless of your custom setting). - Version number in Settings now reads from the app bundle instead of being hardcoded.
