Which is kind of funny as I don’t bowl. I’ve bowled 6 games in 74 years. The first 3 in high school against a college cousin who was taking bowling! I beat him all 3 games in 117-125 ranges. He never asked me again. 20 years later 3 mire games and got a trigger finger now. I actually was looking for a good curling game. Tried at least 10. As an ‘also by’ I discover this bowling app. My first game was also 117. LoL. I kept refining my technique, I couldn’t break away to write this review. Bought it ASAP.

Realistic and simple
I’ve been a competitive bowler for decades and this is the best option for a simple, low-ad bowling game out there that actually has realistic pin action. 5/5 stars.

Collision physics don’t carry through all pins
Once the ball hits the pins, the energy doesn’t carry through to the rest of the pins they just wobble when they definitely should fall.
Was almost the best bowling game yet! Not anymore
Review 1) There is one other bowling game that came out years ago called championship bowling that reviled all others at that time. Since then Strike has taken its place which I find to be the easiest to play and with most accurate ball to pin reaction. There are only two things missing from this game. "Championship Bowling" had the back ground sounds you would hear in a real bowling alley; music of the times (it had two time periods, the fifties and modern times), and various vocals from the house management. If "Strike" had those incorporated into the game, nothing would compete with it. Otherwise I would give it five stars.
Review 2) I paid for and have played this bowling game for a long time now and I rated my 1st review (above) as 4 stars. Then the developers decided they needed to make a change. They changed how the pins wobble if they don’t fall over. I bowled candle pin bowling most of my life from a kid on Saturday mornings to adult bowling on two leagues a week including working there doing lane maintenance and repair. I cannot for the life of me understand why they had to change how the pin wobbles. It simply does not wobble like that 90% of the time. Plus I’ve had pins wobble so long that when it finally fell I didn’t get credit for it. I think the game sucks now. I get splits most of the time and have actually seen pins wobble without actually getting hit. It’s too bad. It was a great game at one time.

Rotten game
The ball just goes wherever it wants. It can’t be aimed in any way. You can line up a shot the exact same way every time, and the ball will go a different place every time. Very frustrating, not fun at all.
Physics update ruined it for me…
The pins are too wobbly.

Duckpin and candlepin
So, where else are you going to find a boing game with candlepin, duckpin and rubberband duckpin? The physics is quite good for all of these games. A few very minor improvements could be made (shallower gutters in duckpin and candlepin for instance), but you will not find a better app if you’re looking for duckpin or candlepin.

good but idk why this happening
this is a very good game but one thing, i don’t know why when i roll the ball into where people normally get strikes it gives me 9 or 8 pins, and when i go into like the middle pin i always get a strike so idk what happening
Glitches and freezes screen
Just like the title says. It lags when I open the game. Was not able to play the full game. But I bet it is a good game.
Doesn’t work with current Apple TV remotes
Waste of time installing. Apparently the new Apple TVs don’t have a giro in the remote. This isn’t mentioned during install or within the game. Developer clearly can’t be bothered updating the app so uninstalled.
