String Cans connects me to prospects
I am an online marketer and business consultant who serves businesses with their growth strategies and marketing. I’m always looking for new tools to add to my business.
I’ve been able to test out String Cans with two client websites now. Here are my thoughts on the app so far:
1. It does a great job of connecting the business owner/sales people/service techs to people on the website. I like that AI can initiate the chat and that a human can take over any time.
2. I like the fact that the business owner can see all chats in real time on the app. This is my favorite feature actually. It’s easy for the owner to jump in to give an offer or respond to a problem - even if another person is handling the chat.
3. I like that it can make offers, close deals, and handle payments directly in the app.
I think this would be great for plumbers, pest control, service techs, installers, hvac - businesses like that. I can also see hair dressers and nail salons using it.
My issues:
1. When I first opened the app, I needed an account already and wasn’t sure what to do. I contacted the developer, who was very responsive, and he helped me get started.
2. It’s a professional tool without much explanation upfront in the App Store. At this time (Jan 2021) most people using the app have a personal demo or walkthrough first from the developer.
Personally, I will be using this as a way to add a valuable service to my customers websites and can see a big possible market for web developers, SEO companies and marketing companies to do the same.
