I just want to play
I downloaded and want to play and it keeps drawing the words for me. I know how to play the game. I don’t need it drawing the first few worlds of every puzzle. I guess this is Strings for Dummies or something. Ridiculous I can’t simply play a game.
Cannot see bottom line due to the ad
Unfortunately, once the ad pops up, the hint and watch button is covering the bottom line which makes it very difficult to play. I had to delete the app because of it.

Looks like a great game but there’s over lapping text on the bottom row, can’t play it :(
Ads make it unplayable
The game is good, I like the NYT games. What made me type this title is that on the bottom of the screen there is an ad that blocks me from touching the letters. Please fix this, maybe put it at the top or make the letter board smaller.

I liked the game, it performed well on my Ipad, but after I played around 200 games, it just starts recycling old ones with different titles.

The game is marketed for a 4+ age and up. My son enjoys word games from time to time and we downloaded strings. The second time he used it an inappropriate AI advert came up of a woman

Can’t see the full screen
You can’t use the bottom row of letters because the adds and settings are blocking the letters. Could even get through one game without giving up and deleting the app.

I can't play because I can't see the entire board. The entire bottom row is blocked. The hint button covers some of the puzzle board.
Horrific Battery Drainage
Makes my phone hot after minimal usage. Actually seems dangerous.

I learned about this type of game when playing the NY Times Strands game. This game is very similar and fulfills my needs. I recommend.

I just downloaded this app and immediately deleted it. It is impossible to select the letters in the bottom row because they are covered by the ads. That makes this app totally useless, you cannot finish a puzzle. Extremely disappointing.
Update 9/15/25: still useless. Unable to see or select letters in the bottom row, so unable to play. Extremely disappointing that this has not been addressed even though there are multiple reviews that mention this issue, including mine from 5 months ago.
