App used to be great, now it's not worth it.

This used to be an awesome app. Was paying pretty good as well. Not sure what happened, but for some time now it has gone downhill. They don't pay as much as they used to, on top of that you have to pay for Spotify out of pocket. The latest update has a minimum volume requirement. My volume was fine, suddenly out of nowhere the app put me on a 1 hour timeout saying my volume was too low. No warning whatsoever, even though it said that volume has to be higher than 5%. I think I am going to just stop using this app all together and sign up for Revstream Radio, which seems to pay better.

Seamless & effective

Strive is hands down the best in the market! They offer amazing varieties & quality music that keeps my rideshare guests entertained from start to finish.

The token and $ amount value doesn’t match up

Someone needs to go back to school and learn basic math conversions because the token value doesn’t match all milestones.
1000 tokens should be $1
but when you look at the 25k tokens they scam you and only give you $15 when 25k=$25 according to 5k=$5

Your token to earnings are steadily presented in your "Stats" tab and you qualify for a reward/"milestone" when you surpass the required tokens earned from listening to all your songs played (calculated programmatically with the song-token table-please click on the "tokens" dropdown or graphic for more info). Strive App

It is a good way to make some extra money. Concept wise it is good app. However, from time to time it does hiccups but the support is excellent. As soon as the problem is reported, the support team start working on it. And normally, the problem is resolved within an hour or so.

Poor organization and glitchy app

It takes forever to get these QR Tags that your passenger needs to interact with the music and the app is full of glitches. You cannot invite other drivers like your supposed too and yes it’s the latest version, if you block a song you have to restart your session and even that doesn’t always work and you can only block so many songs. I drive nights, I don’t want to listen to something putting me to sleep at 3am when I’m driving passengers around in my car.

great app for artists

love the app so far. been boosting my new songs to get them heard in a new city. definitely looks like i got some more monthly listeners from this. and now my new songs have a good # of plays starting out, before they would be < 1000 for a few weeks-months. keep it up, excited to see more cities in the app soon!

Was working ok and with new update can't login

Was working fine till yesterday. Today the app got updated and now I can't login. I am almost at the verge of deleting this app and canceling my Spotify subscription, that I need to pay for in order for this app to work.

New update is not worth it

Last update I felt like it was worth striving, this new update is a waste of time.

Tokens ruined the app

Don’t normally make a review but this app deserves it want to say before the tokens update this app use to be AMAZING they use to pay for your spotify membership and $1 an hour as long as you were listening to music and driving truly amazing, then they stop paying for Spotify which didn’t really bothered me since i was making $10 in 1-2 days but NOW with this token crap you make no money unless u drive 12 hours per days 7 days a week this app went from been an amazing app to almost no point in even looking at it its sad to see something amazing going to ruin because of greed

Constantly crashing

I’ve been using this app for quite some time now. Everytime I use it, I have to exit the app and re-boot it at least 10 times a session. Consistently falling off track with the playlists, songs won’t play. I’m having to pull over every 3rd song to re-boot it. I updated the app because they said the new version doesn’t crash … well it does. Very disappointing

Went from making $300 to $350 a month to $50

This latest update brings down your income substantially. At least according to the estimate earnings counter in the app it says the max I can make a month is $50, driving 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Before this latest update I was making close to $80 a week driving 8 to 11 hours a day, 6 days a week mostly.

Don't forget you have to pay for Spotify out of pocket, which for me is $9.99 a month.

Hello, Most our full-time drivers driving 8+ hours are making $100-150+ this first month so you may have not set session settings like autoskip or increased the amount of Strive music played in each playlist (note: cash reward for token rates may vary monthly with artist demand)! Latest version has been a disaster.

This latest version which is supposed to have fixes is even worse than the previous update. I still remember when this app used to open Spotify really fast. Now it takes forever. Anyway the main problem is that the app will occasionally stop playing music or stop skipping songs. These are the issues arising in the last two updates of this app.

Hello, This issue was resolved a few hours later! Spotify’s entire platform was down for ~2 hours on this day. We understand this service interruption was an inconvenience, but we feel like your current rating is quite harsh as the service outage was not our fault and there was nothing we could do to fix it at the time. Can’t do anything

It’s always buffering and never does anything. I try to start it.. buffering to eternity. Change a setting? Buffering. Have to constantly close the app and reopen. Been a week or two and haven’t been able to make it work ONCE!

Was fine till last Spotify update

App was a 4 star on my last review. Was working fine till last Spotify update on Jan 25. Not exactly Strive’s fault since Spotify is updating every other day. However the last update from Strive was about a month ago. For now either I get the error “Can’t load playlist” or the app loads Spotify but then crashes itself so it does not count your streams anymore. So for now the app is not functional at all.

Price is ur privacy

Requires spotify premium, eats up ur data, inconsistent and ambigious motive, tracks ur location constantly. Super inconvenient. They dont pay usd. Its a lie.

Will be better when it stays open

Consistently the app closes and stops tracking…trying to fix while driving. Consistently logs me out as well. Will push to 5 stars when these things are fixed.
