Background Location Access
About
A walk becomes a card.
The app interface is currently available in Japanese.
Strolls turns the route you walked and the photos you took into a Walk Card. Start walking, capture what catches your eye, finish, and choose a cover photo.
WALK CARDS
Route, distance, time, steps and photos come together automatically. Add a title and labels to preserve the character of the day.
THE CITY IS THE MAIN CHARACTER
Strolls quietly records your route. With background location permission, recording can continue while the screen is off. If location access is declined, you can still save a walk without GPS data.
PHOTOS ON THE MAP
Review photos together with their positions on your route, whether they were captured during the walk or added later.
LOCAL STORAGE
Walks, app-managed photo copies and your display name are stored on your iPhone. There is no account, advertising or analytics SDK. When a map is displayed, information for the visible map area and ordinary network request data are sent to OpenFreeMap. See the privacy policy for details.
SHARING
Export a Walk Card as an image and send it with the iOS share sheet. You choose the content and destination before sending.
PERMISSIONS
Location records the route. Motion counts steps. Camera and Photos add pictures. Add-only Photos access saves an original captured with the in-app camera to your photo library.
Strolls is not a map app and not a social network. Walk, and the city gets more interesting.
