Would be perfect 5 if this is added

A feature that allows highlighting to be implemented into the app would be amazing, along with a section to view all highlighted verses. Thank you for what you do 🙏🏽

Changing definitions?

H1471 supposedly “gentiles” a word which didn’t exist in the original translations, its mean is and has always been nations, but in this latest version of this app, it now means foreign nation, or heathen nations.
If that is the case then why did God promise Abraham that many nations will come from him, using the exact same word? Why did God tell Rebecca that she has 2 nations in her womb, using the same word?
Trying to change God’s word to fit your agenda will end badly for you.

Very useful app

It’s a great study companion . I have had this since it came out. A subscription for this would be wrong just a flat charge should be enough. I have had other apps do that and those of us who paid get left behind because of greed.

Disappointed in one feature

I’m disappointed in this because with previous online Bibles I could leave it on a scripture and go back with it opening in the same place. This was great for ongoing reading and studies. This one always goes back to what I guess is the developer’s favorite verse and it’s very frustrating. The Bible is more than just one verse!! Please, please fix this error!!

Great App!

I love this Bible app, it is by far my favorite and has been for years. I had a suggestion but I didn’t know how to relay it so I figured maybe writing a review, the developer would see it. Is there any way you could add a feature that when you touch the verse button, it gives an option to copy the entire verse? I copy and paste a lot from this bible but I have to highlight the verse and be careful to not hit an underlined word so I can copy. But it would be cool to just touch the verse number and just have the option to copy the entire verse. And maybe this feature could be extended to the Greek words and definitions too. Thanks for this app! Love it!

End of search results

Peace be unto you, when you click on the word seven in revelation # G2033 revelation it doesn’t show all the 58 instances. Can you make it to where you could see all the instances it? In the app it stops after Revelations 1:20.

Response from developer

Fixes will be released in the App Store soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. Red letters, easier copy/paste, correct support email, and the ability to turn on the abbreviations will be in the next release. When you get the release, please tell me what you mean by "There's no way to go back anymore." Did you mean back to the old aesthetics?

Copy and Paste Problem

Great app love it so far my only problem with it is when you copy and paste it, it paste vertically instead of simply pasting horizontal

Great Bible app

Hats off to the developer! Excellent app. If you don’t have it download it! Blessings to all

Deeply appreciated

Thank you I am grateful that you took my concerns and into consideration.

That’s not what I meant. What I meant is when someone updates an app. The user has to deal with the changes. I’ve use apps where they change things and you reach out and the people don’t do anything so you just stuck with using it. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but you can’t go back sometimes.

I really did like the old aesthetics but I don’t care about that you fixed the most important problems. Which again I want to say, thank you

please adjust the updated new app

sorry for this review I reached out to the support in the app. It doesn’t work. It the email the support send keeps denying my email it states “unfortunately your email message to get lab could not be processed. We couldn’t find the project. Please check if there’s any typo”. there’s a few things that are a little different since the most recent update, I hope the creator sees this. I have a problem that the red letters don’t show up anymore. There’s no way to go back anymore. Copying have become paste that way more difficult now, you have to go through three step processes before you used to be able to still hold the screen and copy and then looks real good not anymore. I also really like the aesthetics old format for me I actually really like how the abbreviations of the chapters and numbers were in the old update. it’s unfortunate I’m hope the author takes this into consideration. I used to use this app for my preachings and all my Bible work..

Font settings

I like the old font settings way better. The new font settings makes the app look inferior. I wish the app would give me the option to change the font settings back to the way it previously was. The app was far superior before the changes.

Other than that, this app is a very good and useful app.

Awesome!

In essence you have the manuscripts on your phone. I’ve been using this app for years and it continues to get better. I still use my paper concordance but this app is very fast and always with me. Well worth the yearly subscription fee!

Almost perfect

(plz read) Love the app! am now a premium member

iphone 12 mini i can’t see the full breakdowns of the words. Would love to see a fix here.

Also on iphone 12 mini, when I click on the three dots at the top (…) after i’ve clicked on a word, I the same cutoff is happening.

tried to fill a support form but it wasn’t delivered.

Excellent

I use this app everyday in my Bible reading and study. I have even used it while teaching because the Strong’s is easily accessible. Thank you!

The book of Psalms needs a correction.

I noticed very quickly you have done what some other apps have done with the book of Psalms. You have added the introduction of the different chapters as part of the first verse; eg. chapter 3, A Psalm of David when he fled from Absolom his son. That description (and many others) are NOT part of the verse(s). It should be separate. I have deleted other Bible apps for this same reason, and it’s sad because I liked them otherwise. It is aggravating to read the introduction as part of the verse; it should be separate.
This is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5. If you consider, and make the correction, I can download the app, again, and give a higher rating.

Tremendously helpful

I've been using this app for quite a number of years now (I'm thinking almost a decade) and it has gone from strength to strength with each update. It has become my first resource for researching Greek and Hebrew words and finding occurrences of those words elsewhere in Scripture. Conversely, it is also helpful for searching for English words and checking to see whether the underlying Greek or Hebrew is consistently the same. For example, I was recently researching whether the word 'converted' in Matt 18:3 meant the same as 'regenerated' or had a different nuance. I was quickly able to identify the Greek (G4762 - strefo) and find other occurrences of that Greek word (discovering that the word is almost exclusively translated 'turned' elsewhere in Scripture). I could then search 'convert', 'converts' and 'converted' and discover whether there were other Greek words translated as such... which there were e.g. G1994 (epistrefo) - which is closer to 'return' than 'turn'.

Okay, perhaps too much detail. But this app makes such interrogation very simple and swift. If I could ask for one simple improvement, it would be a 'back' and 'forwards' function which allows the user to return to the previous screen and then back again if they wish.

I live in the UK and support the Trinitarian Bible Society and Dean Burgon Society on the basis of my grave concerns about the source texts used by modern deviant versions. So I'm delighted to see that Brian is now also starting to compile a library of significant alterations found in bibles based upon the critical texts rather than the Received Text.

The fact that Brian makes such an excellent resource available free of charge says a lot i.e. his heart is to aid God's people rather than make money out of them. But if, like me, you have found this resource to be truly helpful, then why not subscribe and support him in his efforts?

Feedback

I’ve been looking for an in-depth dive into the different words and that’s exactly what i got so far! One thing that i’d like to point out is that the definition seem to be cut off and incomplete. I’m not able to scroll down to continue reading but i can see there is more text below. Other than that, great job with the app!
