This app is miserable to use
Push notifications do not work, making it impossible to reliably sell tickets. The “remember me for 7 days” never seems to work. You can’t delete the first digit in a ticket price once it’s typed in, meaning you have to completely remove the listing to change the price. All that among many many more UI glitches.

Frequent App Bugs and Lack of Customer Service on Game Day
I tried to use the Student Seats platform to sell my football ticket for today’s game, but unfortunately, the app was completely buggy. I couldn’t log into my account a few hours before the game. either through their website or the app. It was really frustrating because on a game day, they should have reliable customer service, but they didn’t respond to my emails and there’s no phone number to contact them. Even messaging them on Instagram didn’t help.
Honestly, this kind of technical issue is a big problem for us students, especially on an important day like a football game when a lot of people rely on the app. I hope they realize how much inconvenience this causes and improve their support and platform stability. Thanks.

Literally Worst App Ever
My first time ever writing an apple review in 10 years. Actually impossible to use. My email is apparently already taken, but can’t login. Reset password button says it will send an email but it NEVER DOES. No way to contact them either for help so good luck. If you respond with check my spam folder i’ll actually punch you in the face

This app is a scam and frustrating
This app does nothing besides connect buyers and sellers. You still have to do all the work and they take huge fees from buyers. They say they don’t take fees from sellers, but when you have to price in a fee (my last ticket had a $15 fee on a $50 ticket) on the list price, the buyer and seller lose.
Maybe they handle transactions, but so would venmo or paypal without a huge fee. They claim buyer/seller protection, but I have dealt with more issues transferring through the app than I ever did in my schools group chats. Plus, they require way more user data.
I have still had several fraudulent buyer situations. I’ve had non-students try to buy and then submit a complaint against me when they can’t accept. Student Seats had no prevention for this besides saying they shouldn’t try to buy.
There is something going on where tickets will be ‘bought’ and then immediately canceled numerous times. I can’t figure out why, but I find it suspicious.
The app’s interface is glitchy and doesn’t display correctly.
There’s no communication between buyers and sellers on the app, leading to overly complicated trouble-shooting.
Customer service is responsive over email, but it’s ridiculous how many times I’ve had to go to customer service to test this.

Scammed and also buggy
The app does. Not. Work. Don’t download this, just use the website instead. The app is just the website portal on a phone screen, so the menus work about half of the time. I got scammed by a listing that was for a different ticket than was listed, but since you can only have one ticket in your account at a time, I was out of luck trying to get my money back in time for the game. I get what they’re going for, but the site is too slow and buggy to stop you from getting compensation for a scam unless it was 2-3 days before the event you’re trying to attend.

Do not try this app the day of a game
You will be at the sellers will if you try buying a ticket the day of a game. No matter what you will have to wait for the seller to transfer the ticket after paying for the ticket. Can easily screw you out of not going to the game.
Great service, bad app
If we’re talking service, this app is reliable and safe for its purpose. However, this app is just an exact reskin of the browser version of this service - to the point that the “download in the app store” button is still at the bottom. The app is buggy, visually unappealing, and hard to use. I hope that in the future they can make a version of this app that works better for iphones and ipads.
