If I could rate 6 stars, I would!
I have no bad comments, only ideas- Based on other reviews I've read, this app seems to be pretty new. I would love to see additional features such as a checklist for assignments with an optional due date slot and potentially a widget option to further remind me to study. Or, an optional choice to temporarily block apps such as Instagram or TikTok during study time. Personally, I know this would make my studying a lot more productive!
Thank you for this app and keep up the fantastic work!!!

Thank you for this. You took the trouble to write out three specific ideas — which means so much! Two of them are already built, and you'll see them in the next update! The next update puts a checklist on each course — the things you need to finish, with a due date if there is one — and adds a home-screen widget showing today's study time with your nearest exam underneath. The third one, blocking apps during a study session, I definitely want to build. It makes sense — another great idea! Apple keeps that behind a permission which developers have to apply for, so I won't give you a date I can't keep. But it is on my list to work through. And thank you for telling your friends! I originally designed this app for my daughter — and she had thoughts on your ideas too! As a community, we will continue to make it better. Good luck with those courses! — Matt
Perfect Study App
Switched to this app after using another popular study app for years. What I like best about Studiary is how easy and simple the app is for those serious about tracking their study time. Study should just be just that, and not some main revenue stream in disguised as game like many other study apps are doing.
My dream study time tracker app is one that allows me to TRACK my time easily, and tell me my running study time as I study, all without going through a series of pop ups or clicks (like the previous study app I was using), and I found everything I wish for in Studiary.
Great app.

Thank you for this. Leaving an app you'd used for years takes something, and taking the time to explain why means a great deal. You've put your finger on the decision I keep coming back to. Nothing in Studiary is built to keep you in Studiary — no streaks to protect, no badges, no pop-ups. The timer's job is to tell you the truth about where your hours went and then get out of your way. An update is close behind with iPad support and multiple exam dates per course. Same principle: more useful, not more insistent. — Matt
The app ive been looking for

Thank you for taking the time to write this. It means a great deal, and more so knowing you'd already tried the popular ones first. You're right about the iPad, and I'm going to fix it. Studiary was built phone-first, so on an iPad you're running a scaled-up phone app rather than something designed for that screen. Proper iPad support is the next thing I'm working on. I won't promise a date, but it's at the top of the list. Glad “add time you forgot” is earning its keep — that one exists because a student told me the old version was unusable.
Nice!

Thank you so much for writing this. Reviews like yours are the most useful thing I get, and I don't take them for granted. Multiple exam dates per course, counting down to the nearest one — that's a good idea and I'm going to build it. At the moment each course holds a single date, which is exactly the wall you hit. I can't give you a date for the update, but it's going on the list now. And thank you for the bit about simplicity. That's the part I was most afraid of losing.
So helpful when you’re balancing multiple classes

Thank you, this made my week. Studiary started because my own daughter was juggling several classes and said a plain timer wasn't telling her anything useful — which is almost exactly how you put it. The exam countdown was her idea too. Really glad it's making things feel less overwhelming, and good luck this semester.
