Excellent dialogues
The most amazing part of this app is conversational language that is used in the dialogues. This app would be even better if there was an option of typing characters as in real chat.

Pretty good
This app is pretty good. However, Chinese scribe and origins are much better. The one issue I have with this app is that the multiple choice answers never change position. For instance, I know 我要去逛街 will always be the bottom choice so I don't even have to think about it. Some of the recordings also don't match the multiple choice options.

Best Chinese learning app
Best Mandarin learning app on the iPad. Funny conversations and repetition without boring you means you learn and build upon your Chinese with every scenario. After trying out the scenarios in the free version, I immediately purchased the full - perhaps I was taken by the cute anime girls. Go for it!

Good but need more content
This is a great app. The method used is really effective. But it would be nice to have more general conversation topics, not only chinese for your chinese boyfriend/girlfriend...

Update ruined this app!
Was one of my favourite apps before the update. After the update, the structure is ruined and it's difficult to understand what to do. There's only one scenario offered here but I'm certainly not going to buy the full version now.

Great app
This is a great app to learn and listen to sentences. I'm looking forward to seeing more lessons especially about shopping, introductions with friends and school environment situations. Great potential!

Very practical
I have lots of Chinese language apps to help me learn as much as I can before my trip to China. Brainscape has great app for survival Chinese but this is the most practical for being able to talk to someone on a more personal level. It's GREAT! I play it all the time. More than worth the $4.99 extra to have the entire program. It's one Mocha at Starbucks and with this program, it teaches me what to say to meet someone at Starbucks! Love it!!

Excellent App and Tech Support
I am genuinely pleased with buying the upgraded version of this app. It is a fun app that teaches practical Chinese in an entertaining and well-illustrated way while still cumulatively building new vocabulary for maximum retention. When I had a problem with downloading my upgrade of the app (that was a result of my slow internet connection and no fault of the app), the in-app tech support promptly replied and fixed my problem. I definitely suggest downloading this app which offers enough of free content to show you the value of its upgrade, because once you start you will be hooked.
