Blown away by the quiz quality (even in French!)
I tried StudySnap AI a bit out of curiosity, without expecting much… and I was honestly blown away. I entered a topic in French that’s quite specific and medical (“functional nutrition in autoimmune hypothyroidism”), and the app generated a very relevant, well-structured quiz with genuinely useful questions. Since the app is in English, I wasn’t sure it would handle French and I was even afraid I’d get an error message, but in the end it worked really well.
I also really appreciated that there are three difficulty levels, and that you can generate up to 20 questions in a quiz.
The first time, the quiz generation was a bit slow and when I left the app, it failed. I restarted and kept the app open, and this time everything went smoothly. The final result was excellent, and I really liked the end screen showing your score, each question, and the correct answer—it’s great for reviewing and understanding what you got wrong.
I do have a few suggestions to make the app even better. On my iPhone, the last answer choice is always hidden behind the “Next” button, so you can’t read it at all (I tried reducing text size via both Settings and Control Center, but it didn’t change anything). This matters because you can pick the wrong answer simply because you can’t see the full option.
Also, it would be great if quiz generation didn’t stop when you leave the app, or at least if there were a clear message telling users not to leave the app while it’s generating (or a progress/status indicator). That would prevent having to restart and would make the experience even smoother.
Finally, the quiz ended up being erased, and I’m glad I took screenshots of every answer. It would be amazing to keep quizzes saved, export them as an image or PDF, and share them easily. I’d also love to be able to see all results at once on a single page instead of having to tap into each question one by one, because it takes time when you want to archive the content.
The “best of the best of the best” would be a feature that lets you ask the AI follow-up questions about the quiz, with explanations or extra details for the answers. And the best of the best l would be interface theme customization with a color picker (ideally an HEX code input), because green isn’t really my thing.
Overall, this app is truly top-notch, very promising, and genuinely useful—even for serious topics. I really hope it stays free, and I’d love to see it available on the French App Store as well, with a French interface.
