Bug

I used to like the app a lot, just come back to use it and the ‘Get for a year’ advert keeps bugging and I have to refresh the entire app to continue my flash cards. The app is really useful but this proving an inconvenience to my study.

Not recommended

It has so many mistakes and most of the time it reads your handwriting so badly and the grades are not accurate.

Useful for specific surcumstance

I struggle with motivation so very useful app on certain topics however I’m not sure if this is me not finding what I’m trying to or if u just can’t make a flash card from your own stuff. For my German I need to memorise speaking answers and I can’t put the question and answer down. However, although I have been very critical so far it makes other revision very easy like religion I’ve found.

Good with friends

I just downloaded the app today to revise for A Levels, uploading your own notes is very easy and watching a 30 second ad really is not a problem when weighed up with the amount of revision you can get done. My friend told me to download this and I am going to encourage others only because the leaderboard in general is a great motivator to keep revising. Overall might buy the plus version so I can upload more efficiently, but it works well even for free, would highly recommend.

Ads

The concept itself is good but the execution was terrible. Why should i waste my time watching an ad to make a singular flashcard if i can use another app that allows me to do the same but without any ads?

A perfect app to study if you’re unmotivated

1. great app
2. paid version is worth it but isn’t a barrier
3. a few improvements

A great app especially if you’re addicted to scrolling on social media because the feeling of ‘one more video’ is replicated but you don’t feel guilty afterwards. In the free and paid version there is a leaderboard which is a great motivator. There is also a way to add your own topics by 1. describing the topic to ai 2. typing in your own notes 3. taking a picture or uploading an image. It gives you a practice questions, multiple choice questions and flashcards than you can just scroll through and not have to make them yourself

The paid version is good but it isn’t required to enjoy it: it gives you access to unlimited lives, it is ad free and you have access to 1. choosing youtube videos and the app will add questions about it 2. copying the link to a website which the app will, again add questions 3. and the same thing is possible with a powerpoint or a pdf.

A few improvements/problems

•Adding a weekly/ monthly leaderboard could be a good way to keep the app fresh in the future
•Allowing people to share their home page questions e.g someone could publish their aqa gcse science or edexel gcse history questions to avoid having to make them yourself
•Adding a few rewards such as unlocking a special profile picture for reaching level 10 or being top of a leaderboard, nothing too crazy just something small
•Adding a variety of sound effects and being able to choose them just to stop them from getting repetitive

Overall a brilliant app and I’m definitely going to use this a lot
