Load of rubbish
Used to have Stuff as my go to for news but since they ruined their app have had to look elsewhere. Just had another look after a few months and still bad and they insisted I sign in, which no way in hell will I do that letting them capture my data.
Could only read a few lines of each article so couldn’t tell if they still had juvenile, wok and biased reporters writing the articles, which I only noticed when they forced me away18 months ago and I started to make comparisons.

Glitchy app seething with ads
News is fine. App is not
Such a disappointment
Too many videos that buffer all the time. No, it’s not me. We have Starlink and all other streaming services are fine with no buffering. The only videos that buffer are Stuff.
Still buggy!
Have to contend with regular OTP verification, 8 digits long!
Goon to the pack
Used to be a good reliable source of news. No longer trust this site, pop-up adds over the news. Require your personal data to mine your interests. Made it too hard, I will regretfully say goodbye to Stuff
News yes Video NO
As a written news app, this is great and easy to use. However, every time I try to use it to interact with a video feature there are playback issues or just no playback at all!
App needs work
Try signing up or registering. I’ll be surprised if it goes smoothly for you.

What does it take for Stuff to fix their app? Another update, another bug. Click on an article and it directs you their website, asking you to log in. I’m already logged in using the app. Why do you need another login? Click on the login link and nothing happens. Hopeless, get to read about 4 lines of the article. To make it even worse, they keep pushing you to take up a paid subscription. Laughable, when they can’t even get the app to work properly after all these years.

This App is rubbish
Please test your APP before release! The video stop working after a few seconds. If I try to view the video in full screen it starts, then crashes and then I have to go to the Home Screen and start over again.
The quiz does not move on after answering the first question. If I choose a main topic and select an article, I have to choose to go back to the start of that section and then find the article to move onto the next one, why can’t I just swipe to the next article like the previous APP
The ad’s now take over half of the realestate of the screen. While I understand that ads are necessary, they should not overtake the main reason to provide news!
I have removed the APP, restarted the ipad and re-install, but it still doesn’t work as detailed above

Still a rubbish app
Refuse to sign in to read an article, others don’t make you.

Using the app, and then click on an article and what does it do? Takes you out of the app to your browser, shows 3 lines of the article and then asked you to login. Do that, you can read the article, but if you go back to the app, it seems to log you out and do the same thing again. After years of what seems like trial and error app development, they still can’t get it right.
And to think they actually want people to pay a subscription for this?

Old articles
Why is it that when I go to read regional news, the articles are old, I just read one from 14 April and it’s now May!

App is still so bad, with no sign that it will ever improve, I have finally given up and deleted it.

No dark mode and no way to search for an article

Have ads always getting in the way I don’t even read the ads I just go to another news supplier now have only kept app for the odd time
Fix the scrolling ads
The most annoying about the app is the scrolling ads that do scroll correctly. Needing multiple attempts to get through the ads. Makes the whole experience annoying to a point where it’s easier to change apps where this doesn’t happens. Please fix
Unresponsive
Your app has become unresponsive. It won’t open and the website says it doesn’t exist, did you guys leave without closing the door?
Ads across the middle of the screen
I understand the need for ads but it’s gone a step too far now. Your reading is interrupted halfway down the page by a translucent ad but it covers the words and makes reading fluently very hard.

Unable to login
I’ve never had a problem before but now I’m being logged off and have trouble logging on even after trying all the ways to login. It’s now easier to go to website to read the news. 🥲
One of the worst news apps
Insist on getting you to log in, and constantly logs out. News is average. Disappointed
