Great for Notes
This is a great note-taking app! I love the ability to move things around freely. The options for colors and pen styles are also nice.
My favorite app for handwritten notes
This is the note taking app I settled down on after trying a lot of different options over the years. The UI is a bit clunky and over alle the look and feel is not as polished as the one of the more well known competitors. What I love about this app the most is the careful selection of features, the overall efficiency. All the essential features are there, but there is no clutter that distracts you from what you want to get done. In the end the app is “just” an editor for svg files, which is great because this way you can be sure to have access to your notes at all times, even if the app does not exist anymore at some point. Another one of my favorite features is the fact that there is a setting for automatically extending the pages to the right or bottom. In my opinion this is the perfect solution for having both, freedom while taking notes and having good performance.

Great customer care!
I purchased the app in my iPad in order to have the watermarks were removed. Then, I downloaded it to my cellphone, but it didn’t sync the purchase, it was showing the watermark. I sent an email to the developer, he replied in minutes. I still had another question, and sent a second email, Matt replied in minutes again. He resolved the issue at my entire satisfaction. Great customer care!

Nice but lacks
Easy to write but not possible to export to a pdf which is necessary.
Better than many complex ones.

Good study app! happy customer
I was looking for an app i could use to take notes to study for my GED. Some thing i could write with like and actual pen and paper and i can only use my apple pencil or stylus to write on the sheets. helps me stay organized by creating new folders or sections to study in. the app is easy to learn how to use and i definitely recommend for those who just want a simple app for hand written notes. no adds or anything. you could chose a premium option but im actually not too sure about. i bet its better but im just as happy using the free version.

Great for Class Notes
Works very well for taking notes in class. It has nice features for insertion or deletion of images and you can write over them too. Also has a clean interface.

Randomly loses data
Unfortunately this app has one major fatal flaw - it loses your writing. I will write down notes, gather data, etc. and then return to the document the next day only to find random portions missing. Unfortunately, its not consistent. Its happened multiple times now, causing me to have to repeat work as a result.
This bug absolutely renders this app too unreliable to use, sadly. Everything else about the application is fantastic and incredibly well done.

Here is a more 'green' idea...

I tried this app out and bought it five minutes later.
A no-brainer.
What wonderful freedom it is to scribble away and when you discover that gold nugget of an idea, just drag the little blue bookmark next to it and the app automatically creates a table of contents. What an incredible function! This is a game changer. To be able to write freely and be able to return to the important bits of information is wonderful.
You can also split screen, and work on the same document in two different places. Total simplicity… total freedom. Great job Matthew White! You have created a genius bit of software.

Works with Nextcloud
One of the very view note-taking apps for pencil usage in iOS that syncs with Nextcloud. However changing pencils etc could be more handy.
