This App Needs Some Work

Our studio just switched from Instrukt to Sub Guru. I feel the user experience of SG was intended to be better than it is. It’s got some nice design, but that’s about it. There is no ‘calendar view’ despite having a pic of a calendar which takes you to a single date selector. In addition to this, the process of subbing has been slowed down by manager approvals needing to take place. Additionally, there is a bunch of irrelevant information in the ‘Sub Requests’ tab, including requests that have been completed. Why doesn’t this app only show a person’s requests only? Why do I need to know where other requests have gone? It has an overwhelming amount of information and over complicates what should be a simple process. Sub Guru, please fix it. We need a calendar to see an overview of classes we are subbing. It’s a PITA to have to check each day, day-by-day!

Gets the job done!

Instructor at peace

This app has really been a huge help in my teaching experience. I am a yoga instructor and 3 studios in LA, one of which just on-boarded subguru. It’s really a game changer!! It offers studio owners the peace of mind knowing instructors are replaced, allows students the peace of mind that class will go on even if the teacher can’t make it, and gives us instructors peace of mind knowing that if an emergency does come up we can be temporarily replaced and in an efficient way! Thank you subguru and I will definitely continue to sing your praises!
