MRA Loves Subbey
For years, we have been searching for a way to improve our school’s ability to efficiently and effectively secure substitute teachers. When Subbey was first introduced to us, our school immediately knew this was something we wanted more information on. After having a conference call with the creator of Subbey, Shea McGee and Ellie, Shea personally came to the school to discuss the app in greater detail. After beginning this school year using the Subbey app, we provided feedback on how Subbey could be tweaked in order to become even more efficient for all schools, not just MRA. Ellie, our contact person for Subbey was not only willing to listen to our view, but also truly heard where we were coming from, and quickly made the changes we were asking for. This company has been extremely easy to work with and the Subbey app has GREATLY improved our ability to secure subs in a timely manner, increase the number of subs we have, and has made it a much easier process for admin, teachers and subs.

User friendly & great communicator
Teachers and subs both got in and got jobs covered with little to no instruction; jobs are getting covered so quickly and sometimes by subs who maybe hadn’t been called a lot in the past; other systems I vetted seemed overly complicated and I’ve loved working with Shea and his team.

Love this app! It has helped me manage my schedule as a substitute teacher. The process of accepting/denying job requests is very straight forward and has simplified the communication process. No more mass text messages, just one streamlined platform that lets me be in charge of my schedule!!

So easy for teachers!
We used to have to “cold call” all our substitute teachers to see who was available. It would sometimes take up to 10 calls with voicemail and phone tag. The ease of this app is just incredible. Enter dates, enter time, and push one button. BOOM! My last sub got filled in less than an hour without me doing anything.
