Fine, missing essential features

I was forced to use a new app since my go-to stopped functioning. Unfortunately for me, this app is missing essential features - while my notifications are turned on, badges don’t appear on the app so I am not able to track the number of assignments that are outstanding. I’m a visual person and this is essential for me and my organization to check things off and see that red bubble disappear from the app. Additionally, you can’t organize classes into semesters, so past courses will still show up on your main screen.

Doesn’t work to sync

I purchased the subscription and it still won’t let me sync/sign in so I can access the calendar on multiple devices

Good alternative to iStudiez but not nearly as good

Overall a somewhat polished product, but some of the UI feels very awkwardly designed and not meant for college. The way to add classes with the wheel and no week select option feels clunky and awkward.

Things I wish were options

Overall, useful. Good layout and nice to be able to input the class codes with the names and have the course name be the most prominent. Great way to keep track of homework and due dates. Wishes: adding in terms so I can put all my subjects in the term. Setting a default grading for all courses.

Homework Title Disappears

When I add homework under iOS and click Finish, the homework title disappears. This isn’t a problem on MacOS.

Good, but wish it did more

I had to find a new program when my go-to went under. I like this program for the most part, but it is still very limited. I want to be able to sort my homework, have a calendar in my iCal, not just on the app, and I want to be able to copy and paste homework as I have the same assignments in every module. Next trimester, if this is still as is, I will have to type in over 400 assignments which is a huge waste of time for anyone. Please keep updating the app to make it as useful as possible! I will update my review should things become easier to use. Thank you!!

Works, but missing fundamentals

Whilst the software works, it is missing fundamental functionality - Elements such as showing all Homework/assignments on the Timetable (calendar) page.

You still need to manual review what homework is required - Especially is planning out the entire semester. Thus far, I haven’t seen the grade tracking (showing current % etc, only the element where I can state how much each assignment is work, but not a GPA tracker or Grade average etc, from results).

App is Good but is missing some key features

Im coming from IstudiezPro, and there are some key features this app is missing. I would love to see the ability to add winter/summer breaks along with reading week for college students. The app is also missing an export calendar link to apple calendar etc. Also the MacBook widgets don’t work and come up blank. The most important feature is the ability to add exams/tests in their own tab other than the assignments tab. Maybe some of these features do exist and I just couldn’t locate them. Other than the missing features the app is great and really helps organize and track school assignments and classes.

Unfinished

I like the app but I feel there are some things that could be added. Right now it feels slightly unfinished. For example:
-adding tests and exams
-allowing to group assignments into modules/sections
-Allowing to add grades and weights to assignments
-ability to create "profiles" for professors to store their email, department, office numbers, etc. and so they can be saved for multiple classes
-Ability to set the priority of assignments (high, med, low)

Seems like it has tons of potential.

Saved my life (and I'm only a freshman)

Title is no joke, the only reason I've made any of my classes is this app. Without it, I'd have to open my school's webpage (which takes forever on mobile), go to their badly-formatted schedule site, squint to try to find my class...well no more! The live activities, notifications, widgets, and app itself keep me on time (even when I'd rather not be). Minus one star for some app bugs (I get logged out every once and a while) but other than that a fantastic app

Great, but has some functional and UI issues

Great design and easy to use. Only issue is setitng due dates for assignments - clicking outside of the box twice saves the assignment details but not due date and time. This means I usually have to add the due date and time mutliple times. A "done" or "save" button that makes sure that happens is needed. Or a code fix to make sure it saves when clicked out of.

not worth it

If u do gcses/a levels don’t bother. Only allows up to 3 subjects and you need to pay to add others. Not in this cost of living crisis 🙂‍↔️

Great idea, buggy app

This would be amazing if it worked well. I set up one class and since there is no getting started guide or documentation, I did my best. I added a weight for a grade (not sure still what it even means) but now I can no longer select it to edit it. Oh well, I'll just stick to using Things 3 and get my grades from Blackboard.

Disappointing

Peace! I’m a dance educator and wanted to use this app to organize my lesson plans for my classes. Unfortunately the app just isn’t functional. A very typical experience with the app involves spending the time typing out a lesson plan just to close the app window and everything I just entered is gone. Very frustrating.
