Watermarked sides and crooked scans can hide the marks that tell Subtext where your scene ends, so it sometimes came back short. Now you can fix it yourself. At the top of Edit Scenes there's a new switch: Missing something from your script? Turn it on and Subtext reads your pages again and takes every line, markings and all. -- Love Subtext? A rating on the App Store goes a long way for a one-person team. Questions, or something not reading right? Contact support lives in Settings and lands straight in my inbox.

This has CHANGED THE GAME

What a beautifully executed app for actors. Sending your sides to a friend to read and then that becomes the voice I act off of is amazing. It parses scripts perfectly. The voices are really good. It lets me overlap and talk over it which is great. Just so many nice touches. The annotation stuff over the script is so good. I love the notes how they’re little dots and tabs. And that I can record the self-tape and I get a hosted link? Wow wow wow.

Great tool for actors

Uploading sides and scripts to rehearse is very intuitive, and it’s been incredibly helpful for memorizing lines in a pinch. Highly recommend !
