Would be five stars with two changes
This is a very useful app for language learning! It's good that once you download subtitles the app can be used offline. So far I've been impressed with the number of subtitles available in English and French.
It could use a couple of things to be a 5 star app: 1-It would be appreciated if the time slider was easier to use (e.g. add a way to input a precise number), and 2-it would be wonderful if you could have two windows with two different languages. Please consider to make app 5 stars. Thanks.

Good but needs improvements
An excellent subtitle player but it lacks the ability to allow changing the text color other than for white and red.
The bubble “Start here” should have a button to turn it off Amanda Shaheen it is needed only on first post instant launch. Otherwise it is bothersome.

Not working anymore
(download problem) is showing every time I try to show subtitles in Arabic, the app is not working with new movies and series anymore

A couple of suggestions if possible considering I know nothing of the mechanics behind CC.
It would be nice if the size of the text could be changed.
And if text could be be displayed by each character, as opposed to a running conversation.

Awesome! Works!
I tried other pc methods but no luck because CC went too fast! This App is spot on with CC speed! Works very well for me. I have a need for CC in German for my movies and shows. Too bad Alarm für Cobra not found in German. Warning though, updating app does delete library. However the update allowed me to find a movie that previously was not findable. Thank you! My friend is deaf and needs this too.

When searching for movie and got the subtle crunch if push the play button.
Not working anymore
When you do search, it only takes about 10 seconds for an error downloading sign appears, it used to work great.
I’m not in Australia and I got the “pro” version by the way.
I tried the free version as well with still 3 credits and I have the exactly same download error issue.
Please help.

Failure to upload subtitle to dropbox
I could not have uploaded subtitles to dropbox and saved them far. This app can not do this job.they cannot be transferred to dropbox. Instead it would be nice if this app could save subtitles as a text file in apps like word, page or note on ios devices. And we could copy subtitles and paste them in another text apps.

Unnecessary hint
The hint “start here” appears every time the app is opened. Either remove it or let it appear once after first run after installing or put a switch in settings to turn it off. Anyway, it is not needed at all.
App keeps closing
What’s happening with this app? When I insert a title and click ‘search’, the app just closes. I have paid for the Pro version of this - not impressed!

Hi bicarota, new federal restrictions in Australia are interfering with searching and download subtitles within the app. (uploads are still working, however) I only recently found about this, and am currently working on a resolution for the situation, including notifications for Australian users. I can only sincerely apologize that you made a purchase for the pro version of this app, it is quite possible that search and download will continue to not work for the foreseeable future. If you would like to get a refund, you can request this from Apple here (https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT204084) and there's usually no problem about getting your purchases refunded. I do apologize again, for the inconvenience, and above all, because the resolution that you probably really would prefer is an app that works! Great idea but....
This app is a great idea but it not supposed to look at the movie/tv show using the camera of the iPad/iPhone? How can I see the image of the camera is turned off? How can I enable it?

I'm disappointed by current movie options
Twice in the last 2 months, I went to see movies at the theaters and the subtitles through this app was either not available or incomplete 2 weeks after its initial release. "London Is Falling" didn't play, and the one about Batman vs. Superman was missing a huge chunk of dialogue while playing.
Now, I'm waiting for "Alice Through the Looking Glass" to show up for download on the app before I go to see it. When will that happen?
So disappointed because I live in a small town with a theater that only has audio amplifiers but no caption reader devices for people like me, and the nearest theater that does have those is 75 miles away.

Is it possible to split the screen? One part moves in sync with the movie, while you can browse on the second part what was before and after this very moment.
Pause also will be great. Pause the movie, review last dialogue, then continue from the place you stopped.

Fantastic when it worked
This app is phenomenal, my girlfriend's first language is Russian and she says the subtitles are spot on. That being said, it crashes any time I press play. It worked until an update, either the app or iOS update. Useless until fixed.
Remarks
Good idea to view subtitle in a different mode but not so much interactive, very limited features available & frequently crashes
