SubwayMate is a calm, multilingual companion for navigating the Seoul capital-region subway. Plan a trip, compare route options, and follow clear line and transfer guidance in English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese (Taiwan). PLAN YOUR RIDE • Search stations and choose an origin, destination, and optional stopover. • Compare routes and see clearly labeled scheduled or estimated timing. • Open route details for transfers, direction cues, and official timetable information where available. • View outdoor weather around a destination station from the Korea Meteorological Administration; it is not weather inside the station. • When available, see a station-area guide with today's nearby events and food recommendations. Results may be cached for up to 24 hours. USEFUL AT THE STATION • Optionally use the rear camera to read platform direction signs. Recognition runs on your device; images and video are not saved or uploaded. • Share an account-free station experience rating. Individual ratings are not public; only station-level averages and accepted rating counts are shown after the minimum sample threshold. PRIVACY BY DEFAULT No account or social login is required. Optional location is used on-device to find a nearby station or calibrate a journey and is not sent to SubwayMate's server. The app includes clearly labeled non-personalized native ads.
