What's New in SubwayStatus

1.1

October 29, 2026

New in 1.1 • Commutes (Pro): plan a trip with up to three legs, and at your start time a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island counts down each one and moves on by itself. Plan a Commute now understands YRT, Brampton and GO bus trips too. • Regina Transit buses are now live in the Buses tab. • A rebuilt tutorial for the whole app, with a short video, and a quick tour of Pro after you upgrade. Replay either any time in Settings. • More accurate bus countdowns: arrival times are exact now, so a countdown no longer jumps to the nearest minute when it updates. • Ads in the free version. SubwayStatus Pro removes them for good, with a one-time purchase. • A rare, optional prompt to rate the app. • Behind the scenes: faster, lighter servers and a batch of smaller fixes.

Very Helpful Way to Ride

SubwayStatus has become my go-to app for getting around the TTC and GO. The live arrivals are accurate, and the service alerts show up fast, so I know about delays before I'm standing on the platform. The layout is clean and easy to read, even when I'm rushing. It's saved me time on my commute more than once. Highly recommend it to anyone who rides transit in Toronto!
