Pick Easy, Medium or Hard. The app makes every puzzle on your device, and each one has exactly one answer. You won't run out, and you won't need a signal. Pencil in notes as you go and undo any slip. Helpers flag mistakes, shade the row, column and box you're working in, and count how many of each number are left. Switch off any you don't want. Each one gets a random playing style and its own mix of personality, so the careful defender from last round is nothing like the reckless gambler in the next. Skill runs from fumbling novice to ice-cold grandmaster. The mood is anyone's guess: you might get the sarcastic one, the nervous one, or the one who will not stop talking trash. They talk back, too. "Bold move." "Too easy." "That one hurt." Your companion pipes up as you play, and you can answer with your own quick replies. If you'd rather play in peace, turn the chatter down to silent. PLAY FRIENDS ONLINE WITH SUDO PRO Share your friend code with the people you actually know and play them online, up to four players depending on the game. An empty seat can go to a companion. Save a rival and the app keeps a running score between you. You'll get a notification when it's your turn, and a match started on your phone picks up on your iPad right where you left off. Online play comes with Sudo Pro, an optional subscription, and needs an account. PLAY IT YOUR WAY Take on one to three companions, depending on the game, or sit down with a puzzle on your own. Pick a theme and switch between light and dark. Turn your phone sideways for landscape, or spread out on iPad. Every game you finish counts toward your level and your daily streak, and your win rate for each game is there when you want it. Play seven days in a row and you earn a streak freeze, which saves your streak on a day you miss. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Companions and puzzles run entirely on your device, so they work without a connection. There are no ads and no advertising trackers.
